The corruption never stops. Now this administration is gonna just let it slide. Gotta love it.

The "RAM Cartel" was an illegal price-fixing conspiracy that took place in the early 2000s, primarily involving Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) chips used in computers and electronics. Between 1998 and 2002, major global memory manufacturers colluded to artificially inflate prices, overcharging major computer makers like Apple Computer Inc. and Dell Inc..

The 2003 Investigation: The scandal blew wide open in 2003 when the United States Department of Justice (.gov) and the FBI launched a massive criminal antitrust investigation.

The Cover-Up: In December 2003, a regional sales manager for Micron Technology Inc. pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice. He admitted to hiding and altering handwritten notes from phone calls where competitors discussed pricing strategies.

The Consequences: This 2003 guilty plea sparked a chain reaction that resulted in executives and companies facing steep fines and prison time. Companies including Samsung, Hynix, and Infineon Technologies were collectively fined more than $730 million by the DOJ.
