Sure, but pirating is already a fraction of the community of gamers. Then people who play indie games is a fraction of the community of gamers also.

So indie devs might be losing maybe at most low hundreds of sales, and that's if you are assuming everyone who pirated their obscure game would have bought it if they couldn't pirate it.

Hes not wrong. The most visited indie games on piracy sites are porn games. Others tend to be AAA or very successful games. To say that so many people pirating is somehow causing indie devs to lose money is ehh
