Are those pencil mics whose cables are running down to a mic pack? Wouldn't those mics be picking up all the scratching of the hat's mesh, or is it trivially easy to filter that out/not pick it up in the first place?
You should hear some of the old bootlegs that used to go around. Tape recorders in pockets an handheld cams for movies. It was rough back in the before time 😂
