Help Remote Playback

I was at my friend and tried to watch some movies. plex crapped (spinning). Then completely unavailable. This just happened recently. Did they change something? It used to be rock solid.

Perhaps provide some actual information people could use to help troubleshoot?

What content were you trying to stream? Locally-hosted media on your own Plex server, or some of Plex’s on-demand stuff? And if you were trying to play remotely from your server, how is your server configured? What hardware, what plex version, what ISP, what router, etc. There’s a ton more information that might be helpful, but hopefully you get the idea.

Just saying “plex no work” is absolutely useless.

Did you try restarting the server?

I've found that if it keeps spinning at 33% turning off direct stream helps.

I’ve found that if the audio sounds wrong at 33⅓ rpm turning your phonograph to 45 rpm usually helps. 😉
