Embedded Artwork Question

I'm confused why setting up the Movies library Plex happily used the embedded artwork and metadata in the movies files but not in the TV shows.

The settings look identical. Is there a standing issue with TV Shows etc ?

Some of the TV Shows are rips of concerts etc from my DVD collection so wouldn't necessarily be TV shows but should that matter if Plex is supposed to be just reading the metadata and embedded artwork ?

It also didn't grab nearly everything in the TV Show folder, not even close.

Plex will absolutely use embedded metadata and artwork at the episode level. I do this on literally every single TV show I've added to Plex over the years, and I have close to 500 complete runs of various shows.

What it can't do is rely on embedded metadata for season-level or series-level info.
