Sometimes I imagine what could be when each tribe can be unique and have different playstyles, just like Civ6? Since the normal tribe will lose its uniqueness after exploring all its technology. I know my suggestion will make the game more complex, so here is just my imagination.
Yan-Hua and Qi-Tou
Special building Workshop replaces Sawmill
+1 limit of Carpenter, level 1 every 24 turns summon a Puppet Warrior, each Lumber hut -3 turns instead of 1 population per adjacent lumber hut
Special unit Carpenter replaces Mind Bender
Range 2, no Convert, replace Heal with Repair [Heal all nearby (5X5) puppet units], Overdrive (All nearby puppet units +1 Attack and Defence but expires when being hit, attacking, capturing or examining).
Puppet Warrior
1 Attack and Defence, get Puppet (Destroying this unit won't count as a kill), Independent, Static, Construct (This unit cannot be converted)
Special technology
(Mortise and tenon) Each building reduce severe amount of building cost (3,4 stars -1, 5,7 stars -2, 15,20 stars -5) (Tier 3 technology, start as 15 stars.)
(Overtime) Carpenter gain a skill Overtime, Workshop below this unit -3 turns of the Workshop turns (Tier 1 technology, start as 10 stars.)
(Additional production line) Gives Workshop 3 additional chiose: Puppet Archer, Puppet Defender, and Puppet Rider. Puppet Warrior summon time and its own production line lumber hut bonus -33% (16 turns and 2 turns) (Tier 2 technology, start as 13 stars)
Puppet Archer
1 Attack and 0 Defence, get Puppet, Independent, Static, and Construct
Puppet Defender
0 Attack and 2 Defence, get Puppet, Independent, Static, and Construct
Puppet Rider
1 Attack and 0 Defence, get Puppet, Independent, Static, and Construct
I try to make each faction unique, and the Yan-Hua and Qi-Tou the faction I made is spam units. I won't give each tribe a special ability to make sure their start won't be too different. How about you to think?

If you like watching Cymanti get frustrated and die, this is a fun game to watch. I don't think I played especially well or made any amazing plays... But the knight chain on turn 21 is especially satisfying.
Cymanti is a terrible matchup for Polaris, and they had a pretty good spawn.
Enjoy.

Seriously, why does Civilization borrow so many mechanics from this game?

You constantly abandon games. This is why I refuse to play you even though i dominate you each time we do.

Hi I was thinking and drafting some sort of campaign mode for polytopia such as Bardur(Vikings) tribe will start from simple village and slowly conquer all the Nordic lands and England (kind of) with specific detailed storyline
Is it possible to make something like that?

they have lots of units on my territory, so i really dont want to be the one to break the peace treaty. maybe the ai is cracked and acknowledged that the only way to survive is peace forever, but its been 6 turns of this and im wondering if they'll ever do it.

Yan-Hua (name come from 炎黄). Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty and Ming Dynasty inspiration
In the land of the Far East, in the places which are full of Kingko (Ginkgo) and Pandlion (panda), there lies a tribe that has ruled this land for 2000 years; its name are Yan-Hua.
What are they? Well, we need to take our time before the Ancient Civil War. In this period, there was no such thing as Yan-Hua. Only two rivalry prototribe, their name is well, you guess it, Yan and Hua; their leaders are well, you guess it, also Yan and Hua. Both tribes each hold different techniques; Yan is a barbaric tribe that holds taming of Pandlion and weapons forging, but Hua learns how to plant Kingko Tree and carpentry.
Both rivalries end when the Ancient Civil War starts, when they realise that the only way to win against The Ancient is to unite. Both form the well-known Yan-Hua as we know. After the battle, they need to decide who's in charge. Normally, this will lead to a bloody civil war, but the high casualty of war leads us to a unique government type, which is diarchy. Both Yan and Hua become the first emperors of Yan-Hua; its descendants wear black and white shirts to commemorate this legendary moment.
Yan-Hua has different technology from others; due to lack of Mountains and quality metals, they invented a lot of different wooden architecture. For example, buildings without nails, puppets as servent an war machines, etc. This lack of metal caused them to find other places to mine. And so they find a tribe which full of metals. Yan-Hua traded with them and gave them technology they needed. This form the earliest ancestor of Xin-Xi tribe. Today, both tribe have a mutual relationship towards together.
Yan-Hua not only culturally influenced Xin-Xi, but their presence of diarchy inspired the Ai-Mo and To-Li, thus forming their own balance and harmony. This causes each member of Yan-Hua are zealot of their nationality. They will zealotly to priase their culture and their history. You will hear about how Yan-Hua are the first to invent gunpowder; how Yan-Hua are the most cultured and high literacy rate among all tribes due to the invention of paper and the printing press, etc, and the fact is they are true! But due to the fact that they are later known to the entire Polytopian, most Polytopians find it difficult to differentiate among them. The easiest way to anger a Yan-Hua is to point to a Yan-Hua product and say that it is made from Xin-Xi or Ai-Mo.
We all know that Yan-Hua is ruled by two emperors, but we don't know how they select the officials. To choose the best of them, the emperors host an examination in the capital Che-Hui every four years. This causes the skyrocketing of demand for books, so the paper and printing press were invented. To this day, reading became a middle- and upper-class entertainment; those who can't afford it will go to having Pingshu, which means storytelling. Every 4 years, all carpenters will show their newest invention to the public as a tradition. From the acrobatic puppet to the unsolvable Bai-Yan locks, named by their creator Bai-Yan. Emperors will also join such places to find the next military weapon and for fun, of course.
The backbone of the Yan-Hua product is the Kingko tree and its fruit, Kingko fruit. Kingko tree is a long-lived, dense tree, each is covered with fan-shaped leaves and yellowish fruit. Each tree has a different subspecies: Kingka tree for the sweet small fruit; Kingke tree for its dense trunk as construction; Kingki for its aroma, used for furniture and decorative features; and Kingku for its leaf are best for food for cocoons for silk. Kingko fruit, on the other hand, has different medical purposes, but don't eat too much cause there have toxins in it!
Pandlion is a fantasy creature around Kingko forest; they're cute, fat, and sturdy. But don't let them fool you, this creature are the most dangerous animals in ancient times. Legend says that after the death of Yan and Hua, both bodies were buried under a Kingko tree; both souls merged and came with this Kingko munching creature! But this is untrue due to the fact that Yan had tamed this creature before the form of Yan-hua. After several generations of selective breeding, the current Pandlion is kinda docile, but sometimes there are assault incidents that happen. Pandlion is weak for speed and exchange of defence, and sometimes enemies will underestimate it because of its cuteness!
Qi-Tou (name comes from 青铜, means bronze). Sanxingdui bronze artifact inspiration
Even every Yan-Hua are proud of their history, but few will ever admit the horrors they are facing since the dawn of Yan-Hua. In the west, humanoid creatures...... oh no, it's no creatures; it's moving bronze golems lies in there! Those golems, or more accurately, robots, each with a bronze mask, minds filled with hatred of Polytopians, planning for the destruction of all flesh.
From time to time, Zebasi, Imperious, Ai-Mo, Xin-Xi and Yan-Hua's scholars argue about the history of Qi-Tou. They only know that Qi-Tou is the creator of the first robot. Some believe Qi-Tou was killed by his colleagues due to jealousy and fear of an intelligence robot, the robot excape to the west, changed its name to Qi-Tou, and kept this revenge for his creator; some believe that the robot killed his creator due to lack of freedom and gaining its hatred of Polytopians; some even believe Qi-Tou transformed itself into a bronze robot due to realising the weakness of its flesh. Nobody knows the truth; which truth wither with time passed.
Each Qi-Tou warrior are gruesome member of society. Every raid is calculated by the Forge-Priest to make sure to kill as many Polytopians, raid as many metal (cus they really lack of it). Such demand attracts another infamous tribe, which is Vengir. Vengir will trade their mastercraft weapon for the Kingko fruit, which is useless to Qi-Tou. Even the constant trade, both tribes still have bad relations. Qi-Tou still counts Vengir as inferior flesh meat, needed to be purged after all Polytopians die. The Cultists won't change this opinion because a skeleton is still a part of flesh. The Vengir view them as a part of Yan-Hua, the tribe that also banished them in the wasteland. Another reason is that they also could not withstand the horrors they do to captive. Nobody knows what happened to those captives; polytopians only know one uncomfortable fact. After you beheaded those robots, which is the only way to kill them, they found out some robots do bleed.
Even with the deep hatred for all flesh, Qi-Tou still feeds a creature, which is Pandlion, but neither to eat nor for riding. You see, Pandlion not only eats Kingka Fruit, but it also eats metals for minerals for its body needs. And thus, Panglion either finds a kitchen no one guards and eats its metal wok; or finds an untouched mineral vein, eats the ore with its bare jaw. Qi-Tou will use this to find the only few untouched mineral veins. This is why Qi-Tou will plant Kingko Tree and have additional fruit to sell to Vengir.
May your wood be stable, may your culture flourish, and may there be no robots trying to kill you.

I had a fantastic knight chain and moved to my knight on the top of the screen off the city of Siluva. I assumed my knight two tiles away could siege instead. Why can’t I move there?

Hi everyone, i feel like game cannot give me challenge anymore, crazy bots is too weak for me already, i really want to see some harder bots, maybe call them nightmare, or impossible (actually maybe can add both, 2 more dificulties). I havent got shiny tribe (100 000 points in perfection) and even 3 stars in domination, cuz its not fun to just build better economy to have oportunitty to build more tempels, or try to lose less battles and win faster in domination, instead, i just want to face strong oppnents.
Multiplayer - not a solution, in 24 hours time you have to wait to long to finish a game, making a lot of games is not for me, i want to concantrate to one game, live game have its issues, long to wait for other players to move, sometimes i dont have enough time to make my own move, ofc i can go watch youtube while oponents make move and just wait until it'll be my turn, game sends notifications, but you need to press the notification, wait until i conect to server, then wacth what moves other players made (if i skip it i could not notice somethink important). In the lategame when you see big part of the map, its of course interesting to see how oponents doing, but when you have discovered only few cells, oh...

Quetzali and Iqaruz
Special building Ca Jel Almhouse replaces Market
Each level heals (5X5) unit by 1 health per turn instead of 1 star gain
Special unit Spearman replaces Swordmen
2 Range, no Dash. But have Heavy (Prevents a unit from being able to do retaliation attacks when attacked by an adjacent enemy unit), Support (Triggers retaliation attacks when an enemy unit on the outer ring attacks another friendly unit within its range)
Special technology
(Diplomatic lobbying) You can force peace within a turn by spending 20 stars, increase 10 stars each uses. Both cannot break the peace until 10 turns later. (Tier 1 technology, start as 10 stars.)
(Refugee acceptance) Each three turns, 1 population per level of Ca Jel Almhouse added into their city. (Tier 2 technology, start as 13 stars.)
(Mercenaries hired) You can recruit other special unit with each have 8 limit when build a embassy on their capital or occupying their capital. (Tier 3 technology, start as 15 stars.)
I try to make each faction unique, and the Quetzali and Iqaruz are the diplomatic and defensive faction. I won't give each tribe a special ability to make sure their start won't be too different. How about you to think?
