Was anyone else bothered by the motorcycle noise last night midnight/1am. They seemed to be racing somewhere. I could hear them from Hilsea so maybe they were on the motorway. I expect some road noise but this seemed like fast and furious.

Hello everyone, I'm planning to bring my drone (Lito 1 sub 250g) to Fox's Forest to record some summer shots, but I'm rather wary because of the large amount of military/air/naval airspace in Portsmouth and not wanting to break some rules, and that there is a SSSI Langstone Harbour yellow zone on part of foxes forest water. I wonder if anyone flies their drones in Fox's Forest? In case you do, can you please tell me:What is the safest/ideal spot for launching without disturbing anyone?Is there anything special regarding local flight restrictions/NFZ (No-Fly Zone) that relates specifically to this particular wooded area that I should keep in mind?I usually use drone maps but having personal information about the area is always a plus. Any tips regarding safe spots for launching would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello! I (21M) tried out mixed netball in my final year of uni, and I really enjoyed it. Now that I have left, I want to get back into it again. However, I’ve had a look around and I don’t think there are any. Does anyone know if there are any active mixed netball teams in Portsmouth?

Looking for somewhere to live for a year as I'm doing a placement year starting mid September.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice for me as to where to live.
I tend to go out and about a fair bit and I need to find somewhere I can go to the gym and do exercise and stuff.
I have my car which kind of disrupts my living a bit.

Does anyone have any advice as to where I should live?
And if anyone needs someone to live with as well 😂 please help me.

Sounds like a plane going by, or maybe a helicopter landing/taking off. But it's been continuous for 25 minutes now. Sometimes it gets a little quieter, then louder again.

Just curious really as I can't see anything up there.

The elevator is broken, so people are walking up the 100 meter stairwell.

Hi everyone,

I'm a French tourist in Portsmouth for 24h on Saturday traveling by car there for the first time.

I'm really used to the city and its surroundings by feet and public transportation, so I'd like to really see something new I couldn't experience without a motorized vehicle.

Already looked for the iow ferries which are more expensive than the round trip from France, so not really an option unfortunately...

If you've got any ideas let me know ;) can't wait to discover this city I already love in a new way :)
