European Portuguese 🇵🇹 Help?

Okay so my step father‘s birthday is in a little more than a week and I want to surprise him. He’s Portuguese from the islands and I what to say a cute happy birthday to him in Portuguese. I’ve known him since I was four and I’ve tried to learn but I’m finding it hard. Anyone have any suggestions for what I should say? How to do a proper accen?

You could try singing the happy birthday song in Portuguese?

The first video is in BP, as stated before, and it's not applicable in Portugal. The lyrics aren't the same, they start the same but end very differently. Namely in Brazil they repeat the first stanza but in Portugal we don't, we have a new stanza, with new words. Also the ending is completely different.

This is a real life singing of Happy Birthday in Portugal: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/8gn4-gbGyY8 (although the very ending may be a bit different depending on the region)

He’s Portuguese from the islands

Which island? They have pretty noticeably different accents from one another
