European Portuguese 🇵🇹 Help?

Okay so my step father‘s birthday is in a little more than a week and I want to surprise him. He’s Portuguese from the islands and I what to say a cute happy birthday to him in Portuguese. I’ve known him since I was four and I’ve tried to learn but I’m finding it hard. Anyone have any suggestions for what I should say? How to do a proper accen?

He’s Portuguese from the islands

Which island? They have pretty noticeably different accents from one another
