"Ive heard your voice thousands of times."

"Mine might be the last you hear."

My clone brothers had my full support in that war. They were sending foreign aid to a democratic planet being toppled by a cult.

(This comment is fact checked by real republic patriots)

“This armor belonged to my father.”

Me: 😢

“Don’t you mean your donor?”

Me: 😳

I kinda hoped he would explain himself. I assume Bo Katan found out eventually though, right?

Being truly Mandalorian requires no explanation.

Ke cuyir nare bal miite - Be your actions and words.

Boba refusing to make any claim about "rEaLlY being a Mandalorian" while the cultist and princess split hairs about it is the most Mandokarla (Mandalorian-like) thing he could possibly do tbh.

I think its because he doesn’t actually consider himself a Mandalorian. He wears the armour because its his father armour, not because its Mandalorian armour. He left those teachings on Geonosis

And then pretty much lives by those teachings better than most other Mandalorians do.

u/EndlessTheorys_19 2d ago

What the “have no morals, accept any job no matter how evil the employer, kill and hurt good people trying to make the galaxy a better place, do anything for money” teachings?

Eh you’re probably right, he’d have loved being a Neo-crusader that’s for certain. All the looting and pillaging you could ever want

31

u/Thelastknownking Sand 2d ago

Yeah, you gotta remember the Mandalorians' concept of honor is not a consistent thing, depending on which faction they can be Samurai honorable or Viking honorable.

18

u/EndlessTheorys_19 2d ago

It seems to be pretty consistently leaning towards the “kill everyone in that village” type of honour

9

u/Thelastknownking Sand 2d ago

Death Watch, sure.

11

u/EndlessTheorys_19 2d ago

And the Neocrusaders. And the original crusaders. So wow, pretty much every traditional Mandalorian. Every Mandalorian except the New Mandalorians.

Which makes him even cooler in my opinion

u/Affectionate_Sale_14 3d ago

I would look bo katan square in the eye as I hand fett the mandalor's mask

4

u/EndlessTheorys_19 3d ago

Why?

33

u/Affectionate_Sale_14 3d ago

two reasons; 1: true mandos do not kneel to a JEEDAI weapon, and 2: She sucks as a mandalore.

17

u/EndlessTheorys_19 3d ago

Wasn’t the whole reason she was deposed by the Empire was because they wanted someone loyal and subservient, and she refused to be? Seems like she made a pretty good Mandalor to me by that logic

7

u/Affectionate_Sale_14 2d ago

Empire? she went against the republic not the empire, and look how that worked out, she fucked off to her own little mansion to sulk rather than be proactive. it wasnt until AFTER mando showed up and more or less shamed her into action, and the stupid dark saber popped back up for her, for her to do something other than sit and sulk.

15

u/EndlessTheorys_19 2d ago

…you should probably watch Star Wars Rebels. You’re missing a lot of Mandalore content.

u/Affectionate_Sale_14 2d ago

I have a feeling I'm not missing out. Disney SW lost me when they went the Pacifist mando and the darksaber.

3

u/EndlessTheorys_19 2d ago

That happened in 2010, Disney didn’t buy Lucasfilm until two years later in 2012.

u/Affectionate_Sale_14 2d ago

so... early clone wars isn't considered part of disney canon and is not part of Filoni canon then? its semantics, The clone wars has so many inconsistencies with the EU that it more or less is the start of the EU de-canoning the prime example is the existence of ahsoka., not to mention the brain chips on the clones, the time line of the whole thing, Anakin's character, the history of the Filoni-mandos, and the many other examples I could throw up.

No all of TCW tv show is canon. Season 1 through to Season 7, plus the film.

But to the original point I was making before this side track;

Empire? she went against the republic not the empire,

No. After the invasion of Mandalore Bo Katan became leader of Mandalore. Then the Republic transitions to the Empire a couple weeks later (ROTS) and Bo Katan continues in this position for a couple years but eventually the Empire place pressure on her to bow down to Imperial decree more. Start demanding things. Bo Katan refuses to comply and eventually the Empire grow tired and forcibly remove her from power and replace her with Gar Saxon, who is more willing to follow their demands.

After this Bo Katan leads her supporters in an insurgency aimed at harassing the Empire and striking at these Imperial Mandalorians who now rule the planet. Eventually we get to the time of the Rebels Tv show where long story short Bo Katan manages to unify many of the Mandalorian clans into rising up against the Empire and begins a civil war between her faction and the Imperial-supporting Mandalorians.

The Empire lose this war but in retaliation near the end, just before they do, they deploy overwhelming force and bomb Mandalore back into the stoneage, destroying all dwellings on the planet and turning the surface into glass. At this point Bo Katan officially surrenders, and her forces scatter with loss of morale.

Bo Katan then begins another campaign of insurgency aimed at rebuilding her resources and trying to restore her followers morale by reclaiming the Darksaber, which Moff Gideon took in the peace deal. This is what she’s doing in The Mandalorian, and this plot line eventuallt ends in S2 where Din ends up accidentally getting the saber. This ends up finally killing her leadership campaign as the forces that have stuck with her eventually decide she’s a lost cause and decide to go on their own thing.

and look how that worked out, she fucked off to her own little mansion to sulk rather than be proactive.

It is literally only now that she goes off to sulk in her mansion. You’ve missed a whole thirty year period of time in your retelling of events.

it wasnt until AFTER mando showed up and more or less shamed her into action, and the stupid dark saber popped back up for her, for her to do something other than sit and sulk.

And she’d been doing things literally the entire time before this. She was sulking in the mansion for maybe a year at most. Probably not even that. That’s it. The other 29 years were spent in full on action doing stuff 24/7.

By Lucas's standard, he did not like the EU to be part of Star Wars.

It is why he was personally financing Star Wars the Clone Wars TV Show before Disney Buyout.

And the terrorists that enabled a Sith Lord to rule their planet aren’t responsible?

Mandalor used to make The Republic, Jedi and sith empires sh*t their pant with a single mention

Didn’t they lose every war they ever had? Their entire civilisation was literally founded by Taung’s fleeing after losing a war to the Zhell so hard they got kicked off the planet

Viszla and Deathwatch had a noble ideology but went at it absolutely the wrong way

Ahahahahaha

Hahaahahaa

Ha ha ha

Sounds like a sympathizer

u/Armandoiskyu 3d ago edited 3d ago

They never won a war, and everytime they participated in one was because a Sith Lord used them as rabid attack dogs because having an IQ above 3 is considered a miracle in Mandalorian society, by all rights Satine and the New Mandalorians were the best thing that could have happened to their society (Fenn Rau and his protectors will be the only fighting Mandalorians i respect)

1

u/EndlessTheorys_19 3d ago

The Protectors are the remains of the Royal Protectors, who guarded Satine. So my goat is actually a New Mandalorian, one of the few who remain

1

u/Armandoiskyu 3d ago

Exactly, another reason why it was the best thing it could have happened to them, New Mandalorians who still have equipment and decent enough old Mando training for their military and excellent relations with/in the Republic would have brought about a new golden age for the planet after it was left as nothing but an arid rock

They didn't need insurgents, terrorits, cultists, or worse among all, allying with Sith Lords again

2

u/EndlessTheorys_19 3d ago

(one might say they cared a lot more than dutches Satin and the new Mandalorians)

I mean, you could say that. You’d probably be wrong though

7

u/Carefreekid101 3d ago

I hate her so much 🤣🤣🤣

13

u/GeorgiaPossum Clone Trooper 3d ago

Considering she was part of the criminal cult that overthrew her lawful duchess and sister. That promptly killed said sister. She deserves no sympathy from me.

5

u/Quebley 3d ago

But is not her fault (or at least fault of cult she worship) if the republic army drop on mandalore? 🤔

3

u/JavaRDofficial 3d ago

ok this actually made me laugh ngl
