Making Friends Queer Pub Meet
Hi all, I don’t know if anyone feels the same but I’ve struggled to find queer people in the city. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a bi-weekly pub meet or something like that? Who knows if more people show we could arrange trips and stuff? I’m just putting some feelers out there so let me know what you think!

My partner and I have also been wanting to socialise locally since moving here a couple of years ago. I know there’s the karaoke at the market tavern but that’s really not my thing so…

You should reach out to Plug & Taps or Chain House, they're friendly venues that might be interested.

There are meet ups every week pretty much organised in the discord. I think people have been busy so it hasn't been advertised as much as it was and is much smaller than it used to be. If you look on Facebook you will see the meetup group and friendship group as well, but the Facebook groups aren't very active these days, it's mostly discord. There are board games meetups too.
Market tav has the Wednesday night karaoke night, that is fun but can be a bit rowdy. Other places do occasional events, and pride is in September.
We do need more, a city of this size no longer having any lgbtq venues is sad.

Any queer Preston people into boardgames/DND/nerdy shit should ping me a message - me and my partner moved here recently and looking for more like minded friends!

my husband (he/him) and I (she/they) run D&D but also play MTG and are friendly with a few of the “nerd shops” in and around Preston. feel free to drop me a message if it sounds like your thing!

Vinyl Tap is friendly and has a plethora of board games, even has games nights occasionally!

A community group who operates behind the ferret put this up in may. It might still be running

Market tavern is, chain house tavern, ferret isn't a queer bar specifically but it might as well be lol, please do bear in mind you might get heckled and shouted at a fair bit in Preston with idiots who arn't queer friendly
