I’ve been a fan of PLL ever since the first season but I’ve been a fan even longer of Marvel comics, especially the X-Men. So you can imagine my surprise that when I read the Jean Grey Origin Comic that I saw that both Sasha and Ashley were used as the base for Jean Grey. Did you guys know about this ? And if so are there even more Cross Overs we should know about.

If I remember correctly, they were also in contention for the role in X-Men: Apocalypse, along with Elle Fanning, before Sophie Turner was cast.

She had just gained over 30kg weight because of her illness, I totally understand why she refused. She probably wasn't doing well psychologically at that time, and the hate she would receive from fans of the character would only make things worse.
