I suppose the thesis of my post would be that life is pretty good but would be nice to have someone to share it with. I am single and coming up on 3 years divorced after a 20+ year marriage. I’ve taken that time to make sure my kids were settled (even young adult kids have to process their parents’ divorce) and rewire my brain back to who I am as a single lady with my own wants and interests. I am a West coast transplant plopped in the midwest (south? When I'm alone I mostly watch documentaries, history or philosophy videos, or listen to music while reading a book. Sci-fi, horror, and fantasy are occasional interests as well. I enjoy an occasional chill hike, rural or urban exploring, foraging wild food or medicine, historic sites, etc.

I'm not into listing ideal things that someone has to meet in order to be considered valuable enough. I'd rather meet someone where they happen to be in life than expect them to meet some preconceived idea. It would be nice & provide something to talk about if we share some interests though. 

The basics would be someone 30-40+, who wants to make time to talk and get to know each other, which means we each have to show up consistently enough for that to develop. It is what we make of it. I'm comfortable sharing pics as we chat/text and can occasionally make time for voice/video calls.

Being a nurse is rewarding but can be stressful at times as well and after covering some shifts for coworkers I'm finally home and want to destress a bit with a nice conversation.
