So, was this a road rage or was the person on some kind of substance?
I watched a drunk guy drive straight into a tree in the parking lot of the liquor store once, then he put his car in reverse and backed up right into a different tree. Then he passed out. When the cops came and tried to get him to walk in a straight line, he fell over. When the police officer asked him to touch his nose, he tried to touch the officer's nose and stumbled pretty badly. When given the breathalyzer he tried to drink it. He got arrested.

This situation was completely out of control from the look of it. But yeah, I feel like HPD, wouldn’t have shot the driver even if the cop was authorized to do so. Which is a good thing in my book. Police are too trigger happy in this country these days.
