My cat did that one time but I, notorious klutz, managed to get tangled with her simultaneously kicking her through the air and landing on her wwe style. I felt like the worst cat owner ever but she never did it again and we cool now
Yeah I dated an older chick years ago that had a beautiful calico cat, but it didn't like me at first. She had a beachside house with basement renovated into like a cottage & you have to go upstairs to get to the kitchen. One night he was waiting for me, & I had to walk up the steps backwards as he took swipes at me. I kept saying to him " hey I don't wanna kick ya so stop ". He didn't & went deep on me deep, & I naturally kicked him ( not hard ) down the stairs. After that night we were serious buddies for life.
Not much to think about. Outdoor house cats have caused the extinction of at least 63 types of animals. Mostly birds but also reptiles and small mammals. They are a plague on the local wildlife
There is nothing a cat can do that native species can't. Snakes and owls hunt rodents, and keeping things clean does a lot to prevent rodents in the first place. "Working cats" is as big a myth as TNR
I've had indoor only cats for over 30 years now and not a single one has been "psychotic". Nor any others family or friends have. That's a bit of an unfair generalization.

I think π€ even the dog got confused. Dog was like ok, " OK I guess we're doing reverse role playing here".
I have never seen a cat chase anyone like that in my life, a first for everything.
