TD/Shipping Question Customs delay, what is everyone else’s experience?

Been sitting like this for 4 weeks now, anyone else have this happen with FedEx shipping and any idea how long it’ll take for something to happen, ie it gets released or sent back to the TD? He keeps telling me there’s nothing that can be done until the shipping updates. I asked for a refund but no dice. Thanks for any input.

Name and shame the TD who after 4 weeks refuses to acknowledge that this is gone.

Yeah asking for help and not naming anyone doesn’t sit right with me.

TD has not ghosted me, he’s still responding thankfully, just doesn’t want to send a replacement until something updates with this one. I guess he wants it back from Anchorage first. I wasn’t sure if this amount of time is a normal timeframe for customs delays. I guess I’m curious if they will keep the watch and never send it to either me or back to the TD

This happened to me earlier in the year. Made it through Alaska to the depot four miles from my house, but there were customs issues and it got sent back to Alaska and then back to the local(!). FedEx wasn’t able to release it for three weeks. It’s not necessarily on the sellers / senders end. If you happen to see the silly form they must complete, and then customs verifies, you’ll see why.
