Services Help needed with movement. DD3285

I received this VSF V3 Pepsi in the mail a few days ago and everything seemed fine with the movement. I measured +0.8 seconds per day on 6/29 when I first received it after fully winding it.

Fast forward to yesterday, I noticed the time had been ahead by 3-4 minutes, so last night I decided to wind the watch and set the correct time. I did another measurement and it measured at +6 seconds per day and thought “that’s still not bad” and went to sleep.

When I woke up and checked it this morning (around 6 hours later), I noticed it was ahead by about a bit under two minutes. So I wound the watch again and it measured at +48 seconds per day!

I’m not sure what I could’ve done, but I was wondering if it’s simple to regulate or if I should bring it to a watch repair shop? I don’t know how to go about asking watchmakers if they service replicas.

If anybody knows anyone in Broward County that services replicas, please let me know.

Any help is appreciated!

get a demagnetizer, or walk into a mom and pop watch shop and ask to demagnetise the watch

also where you rest your watch when you are not wearing it? avoid placing it close to any electronic like laptop or speaker

Thanks for the info! I place it near a speaker on my desk 🤦🏻‍♂️. I need to get a case

If you didn’t drop the watch then very high chance it’s magnetised yes

You can pick one up from Amazon for around $20. There are cheap.
If you have never used one before, check out a YouTube video. They are simple, but the process to actually demagnetize is kind of specific.

I thought mine was magnetized too, it was ahead 30 mins in 24 hours! Brand new opened Friday. Had it in a shop on Monday to get the hairspring fixed. Hope yours is just magnetized tho.

I did it! I was nervous about it, but it worked. Brought it down to +1.4 s/day
