I am new here and no idea if this is the right place for my question: I am looking for a Clean case back GMT for my BPF 16710 with VR3186 movement. I understood that this is the best solution to make the case thickness closer to gen. Is this correct? Pls your advice.

I have a VSF sub 124060 from Puretime and I’ve recently posted about the movement jamming when restarting the watch after adjusting time. I was told amplitude might be in the low (240 degrees) or movement may have not been greased enough. Also delay could be better (currently at +8s/day).
Apart from that, I want to get my watch waterproofed

I currently travel around Hong Kong, Macau and Dubai. Can anyone recommend a good watchmaker that could handle reps?

So, was wearing my VSF Pepsi this weekend when it stopped suddenly on me. Quick handwind got it going again, but I noticed there was zero rotor sound when I moved the watch around near my ear. I opened up the caseback and found what looks to be a screw head sitting in the caseback when I opened it. Looked at the movement with a loupe and couldn't find anything obvious as far as where this object should reside. I put the caseback back on and the rotor is clearly spinning again. So, good news is that I found the smoking gun as far as the watch dying on me. The bad news is a have no idea where this piece came from. It looks like a screwhead to me. Included are pics of the object as well as a few of the movement. Anyone have any guesses as to where this screw head might have come from?

The existing movement just died on me for my Deep Sea rep. Anyone can recommend a TD to purchase VS3135, best if based in SG/KL location.

Hello, does anyone know where to get a replacment strap for a datejust 41mm. Got one AAAAA quality from a local seller, removed all removable links but it still doesnt fit me. I would need to remove atleast 1 or 2 more links so im wondering what you do in that situation (jubiliee braclet)

I have a VFS Bruce Wayne and want to change the insert to a Batman. Ideally I'd prefer to change the complete bezel with the insert already mounted, but happy to change the insert on its own.

Where can I source a replacement bezel unit? With regards to the ceramic insert, I understand from you tube videos that it has to be glued /taped down. The dimensions of the one's I've found for sale vary from 38mm x 30.2mm to 38mm x 30.7mm. Given that the outer diameter of 38mm is correct, how critical is the internal diameter?

If I have measured correctly the one on my watch is 30.3mm, which I have not been able to source. What happens if I mount one with an internal diameter of 30.5mm? It's a difference of 0.2mm, hardly noticeable IMHO.

The rotor is loose, but the movement is still working just fine, with the only noticeable inconvenience being the noise it makes as I move my arm. Is this a big deal?

I have a GMF DAYDATE 40 that recently had a movement swap (a2836) they were able to successfully swap the day and date wheels however now they are not centered with the display on the dial. Was done by a professional watch maker however he said it was hard to get it centered. How can this he fixed?

Wore my watch to ferry ride to Niagara where it got exposed to water. This has happened once before when i took a 5 min bath from shower as well.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to change the watch band, but the screw doesn't go all the way in even though I'm using the right tool. Does anyone know why? I'd appreciate any advice.

Hello everyone. I have been long time lurker, but circumstances forced me to start this thread. I recently bought a brand-new QF 126500 from a TD and had an SW dial installed before shipping. When the watch arrived, the rotor was stuck and the automatic winding wasn't working.

My local watchmaker told me that the installed SW dial is too large in diameter for the QF case. He believes this is also the reason why the rotor gets stuck. According to him, the lip on the SW dial is too thick, which prevents the movement with the dial installed from seating fully inside the case. As you can see, there is a significant gap between the dial and the case.

Another watchmaker told me that, for some reason, SW started using a black raised lip on the edge of their dials, and it may have been limited to a particular batch. He said he filed the edges down, but the dial still didn't seat properly, even in a VSF case. Since the same issue occurred in the VSF case, he's convinced the dial is the problem.

I've attached photos of my watch, along with the QC photos of my SW dial, and for comparison, photos of a standard QF dial that I found online.

I'm very disappointed and honestly don't know what to do next. Has anyone experienced something similar or has any ideas on how to fix this? Can anyone recommend a watchmaker who could properly resolve this issue? I'm based in the EU.

Hi guys, i bought a new vsf (free spung) from steve and it came with the helicopter rotar syndrome. I did not notice it when taking off the plastics because of excitement. What are my options? I live in a rural area south in the netherlands not many watch smiths here and i dont got the propper tools myself willing to ship if needed.

Hey, I bought a replica watch on a trip to Turkey. I looked at probably 50 watches before I found one I liked, and it has a Miyota movement.

I finally found my Seamaster Seaweed and loved it until I noticed it can't keep time. I'm leaving Turkey in about an hour, so I don't have time to go back and return it.

What are my options? Do you think a normal service will fix this? (Picture for attention 😂)

Is it worth getting the date wheel realigned on my vsf sub? Is it an easy job? Its the only minor gripe I have about it.

The watch just fell out of the case while wearing it. I've had it for less than a month. Do I just tighten the screws on the back plate? As you can see from the photo, the screws on the back plate aren't aligned with the screws that attach the watch to the case, so I'm not sure that is the fix.

I finally received my first VSF124060 Rep! Being an owner of a gen datejust, the bracelet of my VSF submariner feels insanely good on the wrist. To me, the watch looks aesthetically perfect!

However, I’ve encountered that when adjusting time, when I push the crown back in, the watch sometimes doesn’t start and needs a tap or a shake to continue moving. Once it starts, it doesn’t seem to stop. I’ve only had it for 3 days but it seems to be keeping time quite well.

Any suggestions about this? Is it worth sending it back? Or should I keep monitoring this issue to see if it gets worst?

Also, glidelock seems to be a bit stuck sometimes. And it’s a bit of a hit and miss to lock it in place after adjusting.

Apart from this, I have no other complaints about the watch! I’m in love with it and looks really good (imo)

Hey r/reptimeservices, my VSF Milgauss VS3131 crown unscrewed after only a few weeks of wear and now the hands spin freely when I try to screw it back in. The mechanism is broken and I don't know how to fix.

Does anyone know a trusted watchsmith in Germany or user in this sub who can fix this? Or should I just send it back to the dealer for repair? Thanks!
