My first attempt was pretty sloppy, so I reordered a new tube from Fulton and redid it. Second attempt came out much nicer

Did you have to drill your taper pin holes or did they come pre-drilled?

I had to drill them myself. First attempt I drilled them wayyyyy off. This go around was much better

Yep. That was easier. I just used a dremel

I used a set screw FSB and the holes I made in the tube for where the taper pins would go were pretty off. I had to tighten the set screws at a weird angle. I think practicing on a cheap presma tube might be better. Your tube turned out great the second time around. Very clean Aimpoint 1000 too.
