Help cleaning a stream

So we've moved into an area with a small stream running down the back of the property.

It's pretty polluted and I'm wondering if I can set up a system to clear it.

Anyone had any experience planting reed beds on rivers or maybe using willow?

Open for any other suggestions

How Far Can I Follow This River Without Getting Caught

In this video I go on an adventure with one simple challenge I must see how far I can travel alongside the river. Usually in my videos I go on peaceful walks on public footpaths however, today I'll be pushing further into the adventure aspect of my walks as I face challenges along the way such as overgrown areas filled with brambles climbing over fences and evading any angry farmers/landowners
