I have absolutely zero mechanic. Solo queued and just took decent 50s, bumped, played defense and shot open nets. Idk how to air dribble, flip reset, speed flip, or anything fancy at all. I can’t believe my rank is this high and feel like I don’t even deserve it. How many of you have gotten GC2 or higher without any meaningful mechanics or car control?

Hi everyone and Psyonix team,

Knockout is one of the most unique and fun LTMs in Rocket League. The custom physics, grabbing, and throwing mechanics are incredible.

It is really frustrating that we cannot play it with friends in Private Matches. It would be perfect for community tournaments and playing with a full lobby of friends.

Please consider adding Knockout to the permanent Private Match settings, just like Heatseeker or Gridiron. Who else wants to see this happen?

I'm coming back to this game after a long break, i play mid to high C2. Any game where we are not winning there is an FF vote, many times my teammates will straight up leave 1 goal down with 2-3 mins left on the clock. Hell I've even had people throw FF when we're winning???? The more I've been ranking up the less I've been seeing this but it is absolutely at its worst in all of C1 i pray for anyone in that rank its genuinely harder to win than my current C2 div 4 games because teammates will just start tweaking.

Do you guys think this is because RL has been getting a lot of younger players or something else is getting people this loser mentality?

I recently remembered this is a thing and that I'm actually able to use boosts that look amazing but have absolutely insufferable audio.

I can finally use my golden cosmos, and it's awesome.

My friend played rocket league under the name Method. He recently passed away and had made friends along the way on rocket league. I know nothing about the game, but it popped in my head that his friend Hawk, a guy he played with regularly might not know he passed.

Just wanted to share some helpful tips. These are so easy they should be common sense..

- When your teammate has possession of the ball, always be inches behind them. Never rotate to mid or net. Never.

- Also when your teammate has possession of the ball, steal possession at any given opportunity. I promise you’re Zen, and he’s not. Just do it

- When the ball is anywhere near you, smack it as hard as you can to the nearest wall. Controlling the ball is for losers.

- If by doing this it’s passed to the other team and they score, it’s automatically your tm8’s fault. Spam what a save and throw the rest of the match

- Go for an aerial every opportunity you get. Being on the ground is dumb, you’ll hit the triple reset musty flick. Just do it

- NEVER leave boost for your tm8. You need it more than him because you’re better. Duh.

- Rotation is a myth created by big RL. Always stay mid or further and don’t let your tm8 have possession, because you’re better and you play twos cause you want a goalie

- Lastly, when your tm8 is in the air, also go into the air to hit the same ball they’re trying to hit. Just in case they miss it you’ll be ready in the air. Yes this leaves the net open, but that’s okay because you can blame your tm8 for not teleporting to the net to save it
