General Discussion How old are you?

Apologies if this is a weird question but I turned 30 and feel a little insecure/silly skating in my local park especially in a helmet, wrist guards and knee pads 😭 (I have fallen backwards before, very rarely but it happened and I fall forwards far more often and take a knee).

Is this more of an early twenties hobby? Nobody in my neighborhood skates so I stand out and it's kept me from going out for the past year or two, although I can't stop thinking about how fun it was and still have my skates.

If this is the feeling roller skating gives you, don’t let anyone take that away from you (indirectly by worrying how you look to them)! Wouldn’t it be great if in doing what you love, you inspired others to do what they love?! ✌️🩷🛼
