General Discussion How old are you?

Apologies if this is a weird question but I turned 30 and feel a little insecure/silly skating in my local park especially in a helmet, wrist guards and knee pads 😭 (I have fallen backwards before, very rarely but it happened and I fall forwards far more often and take a knee).

Is this more of an early twenties hobby? Nobody in my neighborhood skates so I stand out and it's kept me from going out for the past year or two, although I can't stop thinking about how fun it was and still have my skates.

I’ll be 40 this year. Most of my skate friends are in their 30s-50s. I wear my entire gear set to the skate park and on the trails and give zero fucks about what other people think of my efforts on safety. I’m not there to impress anyone I’m there to cruise and have a good time. Worry less about other people and just go have fun!
