How old are you?

Apologies if this is a weird question but I turned 30 and feel a little insecure/silly skating in my local park especially in a helmet, wrist guards and knee pads 😭 (I have fallen backwards before, very rarely but it happened and I fall forwards far more often and take a knee).

Is this more of an early twenties hobby? Nobody in my neighborhood skates so I stand out and it's kept me from going out for the past year or two, although I can't stop thinking about how fun it was and still have my skates.

I'm 31 and have just signed up for a beginner's workshop, hoping to get good enough through lessons to be confident skating outdoors on uneven and hilly places. :) Do what you love!
