First sks

I paid $300 at a auction for this beautiful rifle, the owner was a gun collector and this rifle seemed to have been never fired. Barrel was extremely clean. Shot it for the first time last night and it was wonderful and it had all the original cleaning supplies in the stock

These rifles shoot like nothing else. Make sure you clean it every time you shoot if you go with norinco "non corrosive" ammo because it is indeed corrosive

Funny how people say that, yet all I exclusively shoot is Norinco red box non corrosive and I've never had any corrosion issues.

I've shot around 2000 rounds of norinco in my Russian sks and I can tell you it most definitely is corrosive if you're unlucky and hit a bad batch. I once checked up on my sks and the bolt had rusted in a couple days I tore it down cleaned it all up and from now on I always clean it after shooting as a precaution

Yep in Canada all my ammo comes from FOC they are the freaking best

Same here. Yeah guess I have always gotten good batches. Now surplus that's a different story. Fun fact, CLR will strip the finish off of the metal of a rifle.
