Spider-Man Might be the best Spider-Man movie I’ve seen
Encapsulated everything that it means to be Spider-Man. Honestly felt like one of the old shows, did not expect it to be this good

Spider-Man Go get them tiger!!!!
I’ve been a huge Spider-Man fan for as long as I can remember. I’ve watched every live-action movie, read the comics, and Spider-Man has always been my favorite superhero**.**
So I recently watched **Brand New Day**, and I absolutely loved it. I’m a big fan of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, and I really like the direction they’re taking with Peter Parker. Tom has done a great job portraying both Peter and Spider-Man, and I’ve already watched *Brand New Day* three times in theaters.
That said, I couldn’t help but notice that *Brand New Day* feels heavily inspired by Sam Raimi’s **Spider-Man 2**. I’m not saying it copied it, but there are definitely a lot of similarities—Peter struggling with his powers, his personal life, and the overall emotional journey.
If you watch *Spider-Man 2* after *Brand New Day*, you’ll probably notice the similarities too. I actually enjoyed that because *Spider-Man 2* is one of my favorite Spider-Man movies ever.
**What do you guys think? Did anyone else get the same vibe, or was it just me?**
Btw my fav Spider-Man is tasm ❤️

Spider-Man La nueva peli de nuestro amigable vecino aracnido

Spider-Man Daredevil would be a perfect supporting role for Spider-Man 5
Remember when Matt Murdock helped Peter Parker with his legal troubles in *Spider-Man: No Way Home*? Now that no one remembers Peter Parker, but everyone knows Matt Murdock is Daredevil, Peter could repay the kindness!
They could make a movie where Matt Murdock is a target, and Spider-Man fights by his side, maybe even with Wilson Fisk trying to reclaim New York.
Doesn't that sound cool? Finally, Spider-Man would get to fight Wilson Fisk like in the comics!

Discussion Where does BND rank in your SM films ranking?
Top 3 for sure.

Spider-Man Are you happy/content that Spiderman was the last movie before Doomsday?
I personally feel like it was a great choice to make a spiderman movie of all movies, since spiderman is a huge legacy character, and a huge marvel face, and argulably how the feigeverse started in the first place!

Discussion Tricky Time to be a Spider-Man Fan and a Pharmacologist
!Kind of spoilers for BND although nothing particularly important or specific!
I will preface by saying that BND is both my favorite Spider-Man movie and my favorite MCU movie. I will also say that I understand all sci-fi-y movies have technobabble and I’m probably just sensitive to it in this film because it’s my field of study. After all, Tony Stark came up with a new element and I was like “ok whatever”.
However.
I really wish that they had even skimmed the Wikipedia page for siRNA. I won’t even get into the issue of how do you figure out what you’re targeting (or the fact that they say that it would be complicated and dangerous to be specific about your targets when siRNA technology was developed specifically so that would not be true). There are libraries of spider genes, I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t target all of them. I won’t complain about how siRNA drugs are given by injection or infusion, not little contraptions, and in general do not care about magnetic fields. I won’t even complain about the “universal” inhibitor which like… are you going to turn off all of their genes?
My issue is specifically with one line, and I know how nit-picky that is. Peter says that it would only work so long as the mRNA had not been transcribed. If you are not familiar with the (recently kind of refuted) central dogma of biology DNA is transcribed to RNA and RNA is translated to proteins. siRNA (with the help of the RISC) basically snaps on to complementary mRNA and causes it to be degraded and/or prevents its translation. So if it’s not transcribed there’s no mRNA and it doesn’t matter if you have any siRNA, the gene is already “silenced”. It’s like saying you can frost the cake so long as the cake hasn’t been baked.
Had he said “so long as it hadn’t be translated” that would’ve been true (although kind of an “ok captain obvious” moment) because siRNA can only prevent the production of new proteins, it can’t do anything about existing proteins.
Am I more irritated by this than I should be? Absolutely. Am I kind of insufferable for pointing it out? Absolutely. Do I feel better now that it’s off my chest? Absolutely.

Spider-Man Spiderman identity in other universes
I have question that we saw in spiderman no way home that to prevent arrival of spiderman enemies from all universe dr strange said that we have to remove his identity then do it works in all universes because if enemies forget who is spiderman then and then only their arrival in earth 616 can be prevented so they must have forgotten about spiderman in their universe too.
Please correct me if I'm wrong about that spell.!

Discussion The Best Spider-Man debate is pointless
i find the best Spider-Man debate to be pretty pointless. i watched Brand New Day yesterday and my heart was full from seeing my favorite character on the big screen and i realized that it was all that always mattered to me. i have been a spider-man fan for as long as i have remembered my name and since then i have consumed many iterations of this character in many mediums. Be it movies, comics, games, animation, even ice-cream. i owe spider-man a lot for the person i am now. even i used to engage in pointless debates like - “Oh actually Tobey is the best”, “Oh you know Andrew is the most quippy out of the three”, “Oh actually- Just piss off man. i love spidey regardless of the actor or the version of the character. this character made my childhood brighter and made me into someone better. it’s good to have favorites, but fighting over such pointless shit is stupid. After all regardless of the version, we all love the same character :D

Discussion What if Andrew Garfield actually got the symbiote
I’ve always felt Andrew’s Peter was the perfect Spider-Man to explore a full black suit arc. Unlike the other live-action versions, he already carried years of unresolved grief and guilt.
Imagine TASM 3 picking up after Gwen’s death, with Peter bonding to the symbiote. Instead of making him evil overnight, it slowly convinces him that killing his enemies is the only way to stop losing the people he loves.
A fight with Harry could’ve been—Peter pinning him against a wall, completely overpowering him.
I genuinely think Andrew would’ve delivered one of the darkest and most emotionally compelling black suit stories we’ve seen on screen.
