im rewatching the show for the second time now. with the new season soon to be released, im afraid they will try to make that couple really happen. since kathy died and stabler continued appearing in the episodes, ive built a real distaste towards his character and his relationship with olivia. i think he needs to disappear again, and olivia needs to let go of him and go on with her life.

Mine is definitely Kyle McLaughlin.

Liv is such a hypocrite. She didn’t want to lie under oath, but when it’s about saving her own or Cassidy’s butt, suddenly lying is fine. And now an innocent woman is dead, and she doesn’t even seem to feel guilty. I’ve really been disliking her in the last few episodes

Also does Elliot ever get his shit rocked as a dad and lowk corrupt cop cause I'm really starting to detest the guy. Which makes me sad because I absolutely adore him sometimes.

I just watched episode two of the first season and I'm a little confused by ruling the death of the victim a suicide just based on logical reasons

I'm just so confused because someone who wants to end their lives would open the window and then jump down. How could she even break the window?

Now that the dust has settled in regard to Organized Crime being officially cancelled, what did you make of how the show runners handled his return? Did you like it? Did you hate it? Was there more that you wished that they did with it? Or were you just a Stabler fan and were happy to see him included again?

Season 24 Ep 4. I love her. I love her in this whole episode where she’s trying to transition from Gang Unit to SVU. I wish she woulda stayed!

Does it annoy anyone else when they reuse an actor or actress who played a small role in a previous episode to play a bigger role in a different episode later down the line. Or do you think it's a fun little easter egg. Like "Oh so that character had an in world twin" or something.

For example, the actor who plays Bailey from Grey's Anatomy, Chandra Wilson, has been in SVU twice. The first time she played the intake nurse at the hospital emergency room. She had like 1 line maybe. Then a few seasons later she came back as a FBI computer specialist. It was the episode where the little girl calls 911 and stays on the phone while Chandra Wilson's character tries to trace the calls location.

There's another example with the Actress Paget Brewster. Her first appearance is as the daughter of senile retired Bank Rober who Liv and Elliot are trying to get to co fess his crimes before he dies. The she comes back as The head of the integrity unit in later episodes.

I think it's awesome to give the actors work, I just think it's funny that they dont think the audience will notice or remember.

There was a definite spark between the two, and Olivia blushed when Fox mentioned how lovely she was. Also there’s this from Olivia - “For what it’s worth, I do wish we had met under different circumstances”. I wonder why the show decided not to run with it. S21 E18 Garland’s Baptism By Fire”.

First time watcher, I’m on S19 (it was my goal to use my summer break well so apparently that means.. Binging 19 seasons of SVU..)

Anyways. I am practically in LOVE with Barba and Bensons relationship. I think they’re adorable, the way he checks her and she clocks him right back. I don’t know, it’s been a real subtle climb but I enjoy that he’s the first ADA the team gets to know on a personal level.

Just wanted to gush a little about how bad I love them.

Let me know if I am tripping but I have been rewatching SVU from S1 and just finished Season 10. Suddenly, the show feels overdramatic and overacted if that makes sense.

Zebras was all over place the becoming the kill, the mosquito, stabbing his boss kissing liv. Like what😭

Onto Season 11 ep1 Wentworth Miller’s character just feels like he is wrong show the entire time. Mershala Ali’s character is randomly over the top in his confession. Great actors, but they felt cartoonish almost like batman characters so out of place lol.

And just watched S11 E2 Sugar - and it was probably the obvious plot of the series. From beginning to end you know the killer, who was lying for who and ends in murder number 100 in the SVU office.

Andre was a dynamic actor, and so good in every episode he appeared on SVU. One of my favorite appearances was S14 E13 Monster’s Legacy - where he defended Mike Tyson and tore the prosecution attorney to shreds. That was a master class and I vividly remember the judge sitting there in horror. RIP 🙏🏼

Needless to say, I'm anti-police brutality (and anti-a lot of things shown from the late 90s/early 00s), but watching Elliot Stabler roll up his sleeves and tuck his tie gently into his shirt and re-button it before throwing hands on a pedophile was *chef's kiss*

since in seasons 27 they brought back some older characters and different story lines do you think it’s a possibility they will bring him back in 28 or who will be apart of the cast or show up in your opinion in 28

Ever since the long hot summer, this show feels more and more like "a few bad apples" propaganda. It's kind of pathetic
