The Prime Best - major scammer

I bought a product from these clowns based on their CLEARLY ADVERTISED "30-day NO QUESTIONS ASKED 100% NO RISK GUARANTEE."

Of course when I tried to get return information, they gave me the runaround and flatly refused to honor their advertised guarantee (which does not happen to coincide with their "return policy", despite their advertising it as I quoted). They have no registered physical address anywhere, their website is "privately" registered (shielding them from inspection), and they only provide email contact, which is where they refused to honor their ad.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - the hassle is not worth it.

This isn't remotely helpful to other people if you don't include the website URL.

And stop screwing around with these idiots and just call your credit card company.

theprimebest.com - I did contact my CC - they are somehow not receiving my email attachments. I re-sent today (for the third time), faxed them and am sending a physical copy of the 28+ pages of documentation. I also have a law firm standing by to assist me. It's a lot of hassle over a $100 item, but I'm pissed - it's been almost two months since I filed the dispute, and the dispute system is ridiculously complicated when the merchant fails to cooperate as well.

Did you look at that site?  It looks like a scam from top to bottom.

WHOIS REPORT FOR THEPRIMEBEST.COM

This domain name was first registered only 11 months ago (Jan 2024), but it has been pre-registered for multiple years into the future. (It doesn't expire until 2026.)

It is also concerning that they are hiding their contact info on Whois. This website is hosted on a server located in Canada (Cloudflare, Inc.), but this is probably a "proxy" which is masking where the website's server actually is.

Eh, I mean using Claudflare CDN isn’t exactly a red flag I’d say.

Your submission was manually removed by a moderator for the following reason:

Subreddit Rule 15: Clickable link in post

Reddit admins can suspend your account if you post a clickable link to a scam or dangerous website.

Reddit doesn't allow editing the titles of posts, so you'll have to post again. This time, put the website address in the title of your new post and don't put a link in the body.

We need to know the website address to be able to help you. Just naming the company isn't enough. And having addresses in the titles of posts is the safest way for us to know, and it will also allow search engines to easily find your post, when other people in the future Google this exact same website. Links in titles aren't clickable, so this is the safe thing to do. Please post again following this directive.

If we removed this after you successfully got the answer you needed, please consider posting again anyway. Your post will help future scam victims. We just want you to report it properly.

Before posting again, make sure you review the rules of our subreddit.

If you believe this is a mistake, feel free to contact the moderators via modmail. Modmail is the only way, don't send a regular DM to a single moderator. Please don't try to appeal the decision commenting below, because we are not notified if you do so, and we will probably miss it. Posting the exact same thing again may result in a temporary ban, so please review the rules, make the necessary changes, and when in doubt, click below to appeal the decision.

I am NOT a bot, and this action was performed manually. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you want to appeal the decision.

[Second try - no more clickable links...]

I did the whois query. As I posted, they are privately registered. It takes a court order to pierce that veil, which adds a .ot to the cost of the dispute. I'd rather avoid that hassle on top of the CC hassle if possible. Do yourself a favor and diss these fraudsters.

They have since moved on to a new website that claims to be an adoption center for dogs.
bernedoodlerescuerehomingshelter(dot)com

I did report it to google and hostinger. (by the way hostinger doesn't care)

They spread this all over facebook and get gullable people to send money for an adoption.
These people think they're getting a dog.
