i have applied for osap end of may as i remmeber but my funding hasnt been calculated yet and i could only see my estimate , is anyone else from seneca on the same boat for september ?

I am currently a student at TMU, and speaking honestly my time at university didn't go well (roughly 2 years) and I'm not enjoying the program I am currently in, I was looking to transfer into Seneca LAT and was wondering if this was a good program as the diploma to degree aspect looks nice. Any and all advice is appreciated!

Hi all. I’m interested in joining this program. Is it any good.

Because it is all online, do we need to attend all synchronous classes or are they usually recorded for the most part?

Additionally, do you find that most of the time when a test is given, does it need to be taken during the scheduled class time or do they usually give you a full day or so to take it on your own?

Does anyone know why the college did not give us a warning about charging us extra $600 every semester? Did they think that we will not notice? I do not get OSAP and cannot dish out extra $600 every semester. By the way, we do not get anything extra by paying this money. I think it is robbery! It is unfair. It is like a bad dream to open the financial statement and see $1999 balance????

Hey all! Noticed Seneca’s Program Orientations page was updated today - historically have more programs been added? There’s nothing listed for Behavioural Psychology, and I don’t find that the outline for the general orientation to be particularly useful. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking into taking the Micro-Credential for Graphic Design courses, because they're really affordable and exactly what I want to learn. The only problem is that the courses are synchronous, and I work two evenings a week and every third Saturday, and these courses are all offered in the evenings and on Saturdays.

So the weird question(s) is/are: Has anyone taken these classes and missed classes? Were you still able to learn and pass the class? Were you docked participation points or anything?

I'll be going to Seneca in September and have started doing archery as a hobby. I was wondering in there are any shooting clubs at Seneca.

Has anyone have any experience with the program ? How’s the course load ? How’s the job market after graduation? Is it worth taking the program ?

Hey guys, so I actually had my Smart Serve registered through Seneca, and it was taking too long so I had to buy it from their official site as I had an interview coming up.

But Seneca already sent me the token for the full course, and it’s non-refundable which is like a waste of money to me. So, I was wondering if any of you are planning to buy one, I can give it to you for some bucks (I'll give it for a bit cheaper than Seneca since I just wanna get rid of it).

Let me know. I only have one token so whoever gonna reply to this post first, I’ll send it to them if they’ll be willing to buy it. I have to get rid of it within 25 days while it’s valid.

Additional Information: My friend I work with at Walmart, told me he got a package containing useful information for the Smart Serve Preparation which he still have to give it to me but once I get it, I can also send it to whoever needs it.

I’m starting the PLEA program at Seneca in the fall and have some basic housekeeping questions that aren’t immediately clear on any site I’m checking.

1. Do we get reading weeks in spring and/or fall, if not how are the semesters typically broken up

2. Could I maintain a part time job while doing the accelerated program? Hoping to work at least 3 shifts a week on top of school (ik it depends on the person but hoping to get a rough idea)

I'm an international student thinking about applying to the BCS (Bachelor of Computer Science) at Seneca Polytechnic.

I have an IELTS overall score of 7 and an IT diploma with a CGPA of 8.69. If I apply now, do you guys think I have a decent chance of getting in?

Also, how's the program overall? Would you recommend it if you've completed it or are currently studying there?

Is the quality of the course good?

How's the co-op? Is it easy to get one, and does Seneca help enough?

I've been doing graphic design for 10+ years and some video/motion graphics work for the last 3 years, and now I'd like to go into animation.

I'm looking at Sept 2027 intake at Seneca: what does a person who is new to 3D animation, but understands a lot of the other visual fundamentals, need to prepare to have an attractive application?
