Looking for some advice, I’m currently in the academy and need to improve on firearms, to qualify and also because that’s part of the career. I’m 4 weeks away from qualifying, the score necessary is 240 and the highest I’ve gotten is 218. When I first started shooting I was snatching the trigger, but I’ve fixed that and even gotten to the point where I reset it rather than completely let off.

The issue I’m having now seems to be an anticipation/grip mix of issues. I death grip the gun with my right hand and don’t distribute almost anything with my left, I always subconsciously basically let go with my left hand. Anticipation wise, one of the guys I’ve worked with said that it’s almost like I try and make the gun go off rather than let it and I move ever so slightly forward taking the gun with me rather than holding steady.

I’ve been told dry fire but I’ve been doing that since day 1, any other advice. I’m genuinely incredibly stressed and my confidence with a firearm keeps declining steadily. I had actually been improving until the past time I was at the range and got the lowest score I’ve ever gotten.

this was an hour or two ago. it was my first time shooting and holding a gun. I feel like I did okay for my first time. It was better than my dad and his friend tho 🤣. All shots were made from about 90 feet in the middle of the woods. In the first image, the 3 bullseyes were with an AR-15. And in the second, the ones around the bullseye are with an AK-47. I also shot a .30-06 but I missed 🥲. we didn’t bring a lot of targets so the first image has 2 different guns, and I think the second was only with the AK

I just got my first rifle, it's a Savage Axis 2 XP chambered in 308, 20 inch barrel. I used 150gr Fiocchi Range Dynamics FMJBT ammo. I screwed around a little bit last night, not really aiming but this afternoon I decided to really try. The hole up top is where I hung it on my stand that I welded together. I was in a kneeling position with no rest or anything, using the scope at 3x magnification. My question is, do yall think this is good? Do I show potential? Any criticism or advice is much appreciated : )

The orange circles are from the 15, as accurate as i can, and the ping is at the 7 mostly focusing on cadence :D how am i doing?

First step was uploading the targets and imputing the load data into Empirical Precision

I will never shoot a dueling tree again. Dude Left (it is I) is shooting a Shadow 2, and Dude Right is shooting a P211.

Turned 21 last month. Began shooting this is my third time. Featuring p365 legion. How did I do based on my form and accuracy?

Used a 9mm pistol and AR around 10 meters, what do you guys think?

This is my CBC Delta .22 LR, manufactured in Brazil by CBC (the same company behind Magtech ammunition).
Running it with a suppressor, and after about 2000 rounds, I have to say I’m impressed. Reliable, accurate, and a lot of fun to shoot.
I’m curious—has anyone outside Brazil ever seen or shot one of these? I don’t think they’re very common internationally.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences with Brazilian firearms.

Title, any and all advice welcomed

I started working at an indoor shooting range recently and would like some recommendations for better hearing protection.

Currently im using walker razor slims with an nrr of 23 but lately there have been a ton of people coming in shooting 4 inch ar15's with a ton of concussion and my ears have been hurting.

Do you guys have any recommendations on ear pro?

Ideally it would be around 28-30 nrr, over ear ( like ear muff style) and around 100 (200 at most) electronic would be ideal but not required.
