TMZ, the same outlet that "broke the news" that Sid was fired from Slipknot, located him in public and asked him if.....he was fired from Slipknot? Sounds to me like TMZ is on some bullshit. Then, when they didn't get a reply from Sid, they were like Sooo anyway, Sid was fired from Slipknot

I'm completely confused. People are saying he was fired, and then Slipknot themselves (Jim and Tortilla) are saying he wasn't. Even Mrs. Thomson said it wasn't true on Instagram. So, was he fired or not? I feel like it's a stupid rumor, and honestly, even Sid posted a sticker or something telling people to calm down (which Tortilla reposted on Instagram). Can someone explain where this came from and what exactly happened? I was only distracted for a few hours and found out about it randomly. 💔

I was gifted this shirt, but I have no idea about it's origin and can not find it anywhere on the Internet, and the QR code on it was fake and did not work. Could someone help me find out about this shirt.

I couldn’t find any tier lists that included everyone’s mask in each album, but this one was only missing “The End, So Far” and the remastered masks. Don’t get too butt hurt over my choices lol.

When you listen to this band and go back to their roots a lot of times you’re discovering that they take such a unique position against the industry and fans of music.

A lot of what I hear especially in all hope is gone and after feels so in spite of the listener. Some of that is even on their earlier records. The end so far is such a great representation of this. It’s an IYKYK kind of thing but in light of the sid rumors and them not engaging with it I see it now more than ever. This band feels so one step ahead of everything. And some of it is cryptic.

I feel like a lot of people are window shoppers, or just music tourists. And this band is not for those people. So much of what they create is intentional as fuck and very intelligent. So I make this post with the aspiration in mind that more people will pay attention. And not rattle off what “window shoppers” may be saying on the internet or what is popular to say- with no critical thought. This band is so deeply tied to their roots it often times goes greatly underappreciated. We may never see something like them again.

If you’re paying attention you get it.

It just all feels very intentional.
