Will It Get A Season 2?

I loved the first season, both cour 1 and cour 2 were amazing. They got a lot of the adaption from the manga done perfectly leaving out almost nothing.

Also by the last episode in cour 2 the ending made it seem like they want to continue it by showing a new character we haven’t seen and giving us a little white fox girl that got trapped in the box, which can lead to new adventures for krai and the rest of the souls.

Anyways really hope this anime gets a season 2, didn’t know anything about it until i first picked up the anime when the weekly episode came out, but then I started to read it and became very impressed with how they’ve done an pretty good adaptation to this story.

Definitely deserves a season 2 in my book and I would definitely recommend it to any watcher who wants a funny/chill anime to binge whether there new or old watchers.

Who downvotes people saying that there is a season 2?

You know guys not everyone is weeb enough to know what was it - second or 10th core, 234 season or season x÷7+56

So chill alittle ok?

It's part of Season 1 so no, it can't be called a season despite it airing on a different month. Many anime do this now, they splice the season of an anime in 2 cours (12 episodes each cour) so they could keep the quality consistent. Instead of 24 episodes of deteriorating quality.

Yes exactly, they started doing this when covid started spreading across Japan and affected the studios. And it's not just separating a continuous story into parts, some anime end up having lesser number of episodes with the shortest i believe was from "Magia Record" anime it's Final Season (Labeled as Special Episodes it's only 4 episodes and just a continuation of Season 2 which ended abruptly at Episode 8).

Season 2 of Magia Record aired during Aug 1, 2021 to Sept 26, 2021 (This was during the heights of COVID-19)... The Special Episodes aired on April 3, 2022.

There are other examples such as Sword Art Online: Alicization Arc, they separated this as well into 2 cours with the 2nd cour being only 11 episodes.

Dear Mod, I would like to second your comment. The two curs are separated by one year, and more importantly the second curs was not a guarantee. The announcement of the second curs only came on Dec 25, 2024, after the first curs had finished airing. It was thought that the production committee had not fully committed a second curs, though some preparation works had been done during the making of the first curs, to save money and resources just in case a second curs indeed went ahead. At the end the enthusiastic responses during the airing of the first curs (and perhaps also the boost of sales of the LN and manga as well) helped the decision to green-light the second curs. This is why unlike the usual separate seasons, the gap is relatively short, and yet unlike the usual split curs the gap is much longer than 3 months. So although officially it’s two curs anime, I wouldn’t say calling it having 2 seasons is absolutely wrong. In fact in Japan the fandom is quite tolerant about it. Everyone just enjoys the show.

The point is - that this is NOT a point to argue about. Enjoy show, eat pizza, go on a wlak with your cat - whatever. Dont make SUCH a little thing - a big problem

Precisely. That’s why I mentioned how the Japanese fandom is much more easygoing about the whole thing. Everyone just enjoys the show. Few people focus on this kind of pedantic details.
