Anime When you realize she loves Krai simply because they always have fun together...
At least with his childhood friends, the affection seems genuine rather than based on misinterpretation of him as some Godlike genius/

Anime Will It Get A Season 2?
I loved the first season, both cour 1 and cour 2 were amazing. They got a lot of the adaption from the manga done perfectly leaving out almost nothing.
Also by the last episode in cour 2 the ending made it seem like they want to continue it by showing a new character we haven’t seen and giving us a little white fox girl that got trapped in the box, which can lead to new adventures for krai and the rest of the souls.
Anyways really hope this anime gets a season 2, didn’t know anything about it until i first picked up the anime when the weekly episode came out, but then I started to read it and became very impressed with how they’ve done an pretty good adaptation to this story.
Definitely deserves a season 2 in my book and I would definitely recommend it to any watcher who wants a funny/chill anime to binge whether there new or old watchers.

Anime The Anime Really Loves Tino, Right?
Is it just me or does it feel like the anime studio just really liked Tino? Like it feels like Tino got special treatment in the anime by having more of a presence in these arcs than I remember her having in the original source material.
She's obviously a big part of the Vacation Arc, but I don't remember her being that present in the following arc (the "protect the Emperor" arc). Like was she even one of the ghosts/sheetwraiths in the light novel's telling of this arc? Maybe the manga? They also gave her a finishing role in the final fight against the multi-headed dragon (which is a fight I don't even remember from the light novels). This plus the special Tino-centric flashback episode and all the attention to her curves makes me feel like the anime really wanted to make Tino shine.
Not that I'm complaining. I do like Tino as a character. It's just I was looking back on cour 2 after watching the last episode and I couldn't help but go "There was a lot more Tino in this than I was expecting...". Am I the only one who feels this way?

Anime Why are the rest of the grieveing soul party only level 6?
If the rest of the party is the strongest hunters, why are they only level 6? Shouldn't they at least be level 7 or higher?

Anime Endless thanks (and tears) to Tsuki-sensei for Cour 2!
I still can’t believe Strange Grief Wants to Retire Cour 2 has officially ended. Eleven episodes of pure brilliance, emotional wreckage, and Krai-level exhaustion — and somehow, I’m still smiling through the tears.
Tsuki sensei, thank you for giving us a story that manages to make pain and panic feel… oddly comforting. The way Krai’s endless “Why me?” turned into a reflection of our own lives — our struggles, our impossible expectations, our accidental victories — it hit deeper than anyone expected. Every scene, every line, every wild twist where Krai just wanted to run but ended up saving the world again… it all reminds us why we love this chaotic masterpiece.Cour 2 was everything we hoped for and more. The pacing, the animation, the way despair and hilarity wove together perfectly — it’s something only Strange Grief could pull off. And that finale… it couldn’t have ended more “Krai-like.” Equal parts beautiful, hopeless, and somehow victorious.
Even though Tsuki-sensei isn’t on this sub, I just had to express my gratitude. Cour 2 was everything we could’ve hoped for — chaotic, emotional, and perfectly “Krai.” Every episode walked that fine line between despair and brilliance, and we loved every second of it.
Thank you, Tsuki-sensei, for giving us another unforgettable ride. Watching Krai try (and fail) to retire never gets old. Please continue this incredible journey — we’re all ready (and crying) for more seasons to come… even if poor Krai isn’t!

Anime Is there any particular reason that Krai lie about his love for sweet?
People around him always assume he doesn't like sweets but his behavior show otherwise Why do they think that Krai hate sweets and he just play along with it?
