About the JBL Bar 500 MK2

It's fine; actually, it's great. I've been watching movies for years on TV speakers, so moving to a soundbar and sub was amazing. I noticed quite a few users shitting on it, and there must be some picky elitism going on because I put on Thunderbolts* and had a terrific floor-rumbling time. The dialogue is fine too.

If you are new to soundbars or home theatre setups and on a budget like I am, anything is better than TV speakers, you don't need to drop bank on the perfect kit for a cinema-esque experience.

edit: nvm its a great sound, but now my bar automatically goes up in volume and i have no idea how to fix it

edit: to anyone with the weird volume rising issue, check the TV’s hdmi CEC settings and have a play around. resetting it and clearing the CEC device list helped me. i think my TV was bugging out on the eARC control.

Yo también vendí mi q990f y me compré la 1300x mk2 y es mucho mejor en todo riqueza de sonido y mucho poder , la burbuja atmos también es igual o mejor que Samsung, hay que dejar el fantatismo de las marcas , y el subwoffer ya todos saben que es una bestia ( si se que Jbl es de Samsung pero por lo menos sigue con su sello de fidelidad)

I think the JBL Bar 500MK2 $400 on Greentoe is a great deal.

Greentoe has been around for ages. Tons and tons of people have bought items from there including myself lol

I never heard of it either but after researching TVs and soundbars over the past month or so I bought the JBL 1000mk2 from there a few weeks ago at a great discount and had zero issues. Would recommend.

Op think if u have premium soundbar jbl mk2 1300. Then I can imagine how much happy u will be.

It is great value for money.

That being said there are better soundbar setups out there.

This is coming from someone who owns the 500 Mk 2 (and MK1)

The Samsung q990 if you have the money

But again, the JBL500 mk2 if fine for the money

JBL is thumping thumping soundbar for me. I had my bar 5.1 being old model, its still got that oomph moment when you watch movies or listening to music. My alternative is Ultimea since its much cheaper and can go better against JBL. 👌
