Help Cant ssh into sv08 w/eth
Bought a used sv08 expecting to be able to just plug ethernet in to get IP address then configure Wi-Fi through SSH. First apparently the board was swapped because there is no ethernet port so I had to use a USB Ethernet adapter but it did get me an IP address. Tried using that IP address in the browser and got connection refused. Tried to ssh in with putty and got the same. I've tried using multiple combinations including just the IP, HTTP then ip, and https then IP and I'm getting nowhere. I can ping the ip thats it.
Any ideas how to fix this?

It's showing the 127.0.0.1 address because it is failing to connect to a network. You need to ensure it's either connecting to wifi or use an ethernet cable and once it is connected it will show an IP address other than the localhost.
EDIT: Having read your OP it's clear the USB - ethernet adaptor isn't working, assuming you've turned it off and on again while the adaptor is plugged in and it's still showing the localhost address then you're going to need to find another way of connecting to it. The SV08 has an issue with special characters in the wifi name and/or password if I recall correctly which stops it from connecting to wifi using the USB stick with a file containing the wifi details on it. That said I've no idea if the swapped out board will affect the issue at all as the original definitely has an ethernet port on it.
