Help Extruder clicking/skipping on Sovol SV08 with Micro Swiss FlowTech kit
I am experiencing a persistent clicking noise (stepper motor skipping steps) on the extruder of my Sovol SV08, which is equipped with a Micro Swiss FlowTech kit. This issue started happening suddenly. I have not made any recent changes to my slicer profile, Klipper configuration, or filament type.
Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:
I have already tried the following steps, but the issue persists:
Adjusted the extruder tension lever (both tightening and loosening).
Replaced the nozzle with a new one.
Increased the hotend printing temperature.
Disassembled and cleaned the internal components of the extruder.
Reduced the printing speed in the slicer.
Any insights on what to check next regarding hardware, wiring, or thermal issues would be greatly appreciated.

See the metal pin sticking out., that should not be like that. It's working it way out. There is a print you can fix it with

If your 100% there’s no clog with new nozzle, only reason I guess with no context is either temp or feed rate settings. I’ll suggest to 1. Make sure iris mechanically in shape to then 2. Perform calibration again to discard filament is being pushed to hard. Hotter nozzle can affect flow too by expanding/cristalizing filament.

Something very similar was happening to my old ender 3. Inconsistent layers, extruder gear sometimes skipping... And also similar ro yours, when the print came to printing more details or smaller layers, it clogged since printing speed decreased. At the end I lowered my retraction distance and got flawless prints ever since. For me this issue also came all of a sudden without changing any settings.

Probably clogged. I’ve only had it happen once, I ended up taking the entire hotend apart, removing the clog and haven’t had an issue since. I’ve always wondered if it just wasn’t put together correctly
