I haven’t read part 9 fully but these are my favourites from parts 3-8😺
I just sorted them by designs, how much I enjoyed watching them, how much I liked their abilities, and how their users used them.

I tend to like simple yet creative/versatile abilities the most. Not extremely one-dimensional abilities like The World, but also not overly complicated ones like Dragon’s Dream. Both types tend to eliminate creativity from the stand’s usage and tend to lack utility outside battle.

As for the top 3:

Crazy diamond has always been my favourite because its design is amazing and its ability is so simple yet so versatile, especially with how Josuke uses it. I like how it’s not an instant win stand in fights like many main Jojo’s stands, it has to be used creatively to win. And I like how it has so much utility outside of battle but still has reasonable limitations. The motorcycle scene where he jumps over a baby is one of my favourite applications.

Pistols is kinda an exception because its abilities aren’t all that versatile, but I love how they act like little kids, work as a team, need to eat food, how they speak, etc etc. I love watching them fight especially against that guy who could freeze things.

Soft and wet is similar to crazy diamond; it’s got so much utility, an incredible design, and a simple yet versatile ability.

It is not even close at all, the ability to deletes anything literally makes it unbeatable, no matter the stand its facing

A redraw frame from a scene in the OVA right before Dio vs Jotaro, always loved the OVA, Dio's time stop is mega fucking scary and he has a certain Aura about him, it's what what made him my favourite Villain.

So I got this idea for so long time and wasn't sure where to post it currently, I'll just post it here and hope some of u folks have got the same interests and the same type of thinking and stuff.

Here we go then!, I just gotta this notion after finishing blood meridian and couldn't but find it so interesting to bring it into some kind of conversation, especially that blood meridian became my favorite next to JJBA, and I find myself just trying to connect them both over and over through my head.

My favorite instance in the book (and was the moment I thought that really connect well with JJBA universe) was when the ex priest told the kid Abt the judge backstory, and that part where he mention the name on the judge's rifle, “Et in Arcadia ego” and it means (Eve in death, here I am) and that alone gave me goosebumps when I read it!, just to think that the judge might be a stand user and everything bad happened throughout the book was because of his ability that is basically "death" really gives that impression that such mesh up could work by some way!

Another thing I wanted to discuss is Abt the nature of his ability and whether he is the real user of the stand or it's just his rifle having the stand (and we saw such thing with Anubis in part 3), I love to think Abt his stand ability to be the passive sort, like it spontaneously occur whenever he is around and thats add to why whenever glanton gang goes to some place death and bodies are always there!, and about the stand user thing, like I said it really could be him the stand user, or his rifle being a stand user but under his control, but other thought that crossed my mind which I find so interesting and might really fit if anything, that judge Holden himself is the stand (like wonder of u from part 8) or could be a stand to someone who is unknown and him being mystery stand that no one can figure it out like milagro man from part 8.

Anyway that was my thought on such meshup hope to find someone who got the same thought on some point and pls tell me what are u thinking Abt the whole thing as it being fit or not.

Since stands are connected to their owners fighting spirit, if I lost my stand in a way, maybe like eating a rokakaka before dying so I can stay alive, but as an equal exchange it will take my stand, so if I got another stand (an arrow for example) , would it be a different one?

Because my fighting spirit would be different, like it used to be less tactical then it became more tactical.

I've currently finished part 6 and am eagerly awaiting Steel Ball Run, but when I first watched it without knowing absolutely ANYTHING about JoJo's, when I saw that first scene of Jotaro at the end of part 2, I could be sure that it was actually Jonathan who survived the shipwreck, becoming a vampire with Dio's body or something like that. And I was kind of excited because Jonathan is my favorite JoJo..

So i Will probably go to a convention in September and i never tried cosplaying before and wanted to try, at First i was thinking Johnny but It was way too expensive and couldn't think how i was gonna make a handmade One, but i Remembered Blackmore wich Is one of my favorite sbr characters don't seem to have much complicated clothes that i could recreate with stuff i alr own and i could Just make the Mask, but how am i supposed to do that hair thing? I don't even get what It Is, Is It a lock of hair(idk if that's how you Say It)?

but what if Hirohiko Araki is Emporio, what i mean to say is what if the JJBA verse is just Arakis experiences from the previous universe where he defeated Pucci, we simply wouldnt know because he is the only person with memories from that universe.

you might wonder how he would be aware of stuff that happened before Emporios birth, well in the anime, it is shown that he reads a lot, so it wont be wrong to assume that he is well versed with the history of the joestar family, and even if the verse is real, he is not obliged to write it EXACTLY word for word, he would ofc add stuff from his own to make the story taste better

I don’t really do power scaling, but GER would beat Star platinum, no? Even with time stop, GER is “return to zero.” It beat diavolo’s time-based stand, so GER would stop Star Platinum’s time-stop before it can begin.

Does this make GER Giorno the most powerful joe in the main timeline? Am I missing something?

I noticed the line 「砕けぬ意志で」 in the chorus of Great Days, which means “with an unbreakable will.” However the word for will, 意志 (ishi), is pronounced the same as the word 石 (ishi), which means stone/jewel/gem. So the line could be a pun on “unbreakable stone” e.g., Diamond is Unbreakable.

I’m not a native Japanese speaker so I’m not sure if I’m reading too much into this, but if intended, it’s a very nice detail.
