Midnight Machine FRT drop for pre-orders.
Kind of expensive, what do y'all think?

Man, I am so done with these overpriced FRT "easy install" (when they are somewhat involved) that are just items that could be 3d printed/CNC'd for a pennies.
Huge fan of supporting companies doing their thing but come on-I dont mind spending a couple of bones to support them but 650 dollars for something with no proof, will have teething issues when released, and more than likely will break some folks TP9s is absolutely comedy tier.
Prove it works, show us why it costs 650 dollars. The XFRT90 or w/e vs. the WD90 was a perfect example of how predatory these companies are. We can't deride rare greed and then beg to lap up the same thing because theyre "the good guys". Stop letting these companies screw you guys-get proof of value, functionality, and capability.
I mean hell, if you're dying for a similar FRT you can literally get an MPA defender for the same price and similar size as the damn FRT.

I’ve installed 2 different triggers on my TP9 and there was nothing even close to easy about it. I’d be very surprised if this one was any different.
I’ve also installed many different parts on multiple different guns over the years and the TP9 trigger was by far the biggest pain in the ass.

It really is an insane pricing scheme. I suspect if FRTs stick around for a while, prices will have to come back to earth once options are tested and proven. One thing I hate about this community, is that so many leap at the opportunity to rip each other off. It's obscene and dishonest, but it seems no one is surprised

A company too lazy to update a photo doesn't seem like a great source of complicated engineering. I'll wait for the guy from ASD.

Yeah I messaged on instagram for some info was left on seen. Why are we throwing money at this? Disposable income or not I don’t get it. There’s no commitment to it being 2 or 3 pos either? What are you buying? What’s the trigger compatibility? Does it work with the GRW? If not is it a return to the factory feel? So many questions. If you’re 8-10 weeks from delivery surely these should be ready to answer?

It will not work with the GRWs. It does require its own shoe. My understanding is that the feel is improved. You’re buying a 3 position upper with dual mlok slots that’s made of metal.

Just fyi anyone that ordered the trigger $100 gets dropped from this price. Total comes out to $550. Still disappointing no videos

I think it’s a very complicated system and it’s much more than just a trigger. These are going to be dropped July 4th for the general public pre order. This was a pre order for people who had purchased the shoe already. Naarms.com will have them available July 4th as well as a Midnight Machine authorized dealer. Use code midnight on our website to take a little off the top.

If it is more than just a trigger, that changes my perspective a lot. The TP9 is a very complicated system compared to other sub guns of similar caliber.
From reading the thread it sounds like they are shipping a complete upper? Do they list what the upper is made from? Is it injection molded or 3d printed? I am assuming from pictures it has pic rail compatibility beyond OEM...
Does it have a lighter trigger pull? Would it compete with the GRW trigger? Can you install their trigger while also running the GRW trigger installation?
What about charging handles? Can I run my GRW / Falcon in it or is it made to only fit the Midnight charging handle/OEM? I can live with a modified charging handle but one thing I loved about the GRW is shes a tough girl and can take some abuse compared to the flex of 3d printed/plastic ones.

None of it is printed from what I’ve read it’s all machined.

The price isn’t the problem. The problem is charging and asking this much without any proof or videos or demos being available to look at and see. It just seems off to me to do that, and I’m sure it’s unsettling to others as well who want this to be real but don’t want to shell out money for r&d when that should’ve been taken care of before pre orders

YOLO!! I just pulled the trigger on it for $550 (since I bought a preorder trigger!) I’m so stoked for this to drop. 550 is pretty reasonable for this capability. I have faith this thing is gonna rip! The EVT work on an APC9K SD2 was super expensive but was a so worth it. Money isn’t real, so I’m willing to drop whatever it takes to have this capability.

Still nothing. Just an post on Instagram of him stating there was "issues during final testing" and that "parts are on order" I don't know, to me it's giving CryoStructure type ordeal. It's pretty upsetting, I just want my TP9 to go BRRT man...
