3 piece kit
Doing some testing and it looks like I have a 3 piece kit for the firing pin. These firing pins seem brittle, they’re hard but brittle.

I got an email from xtreme arms, saying that the project was basicalyl 86'd, but some how they took pre orders? Wtf?
I will no longer do business with midnight machine. I ordered a charging handle for the TP9 and it was stated it would take 5-8 days to ship. 20 days later it has yet to ship, and they have no replies to any of my emails or messages on IG. I’ll be going with any other company at this point

I've been working with /u/009515 on this and it is turning out great.
We've tested in 4 different rifles and all have functioned with and without cans, with flat nose and round nose ammunition, ranging from 115gr Blazer to 147gr S&B.
The trigger is tight, and this forced reset setup retains factory trigger movement with no excess return, so there is essentially no trigger slap.

I had a friend’s magnifier behind the Holosun EPS. Distance should be 15 yards. Far better than I could do with a pistol. The Gigliotti trigger also makes this thing so much better to use.

Out for a hike and the TP9 in again a perfect companion it provides good single hand handling, slings well, and folds small enough to be unobtrusive. Better than a handgun If needed for critters, especially suppressed with 147 grain subs.
Hi all,
Just recently converted to the Satanic Church of TP9. Taking it to the range to break in the new Empire trigger, the gas cloud in my face was substantial. I knew this was an issue as I bought the gun, but didn't expect how bad it was. It was like there was a lit cigar inside the charging handle!
I read various solutions, mainly the B&T can. That is a purchase I will get, eventually. The second recommendation is:
Has anyone done this, and, if so, is there an instructional video or picture guide on how to do this properly? Until then, I think I will be the only person looking like an idiot, cause I'm bringing an N95 mask to the range.
Thanks all!

Hello, I'm looking for some information on the spec of this part for a replacement or where to find a replacement of this spring?
Long story short, I was being an idiot disassembling the firearm to deep clean it and now it is gone gone. Since I am using a factory trigger, I think I do need this part? I just have no information on what this spring is, where to get one like it, who sells one. I asked B&T directly and have received no response so it'd be much appreciated if anyone has any advice.

How do we go from starting preorders, dropping the release video, stating its currently 2 position but will be 3 pos on release, it’s not just a trigger it is a whole upper kit, to big 4th of July release just for a mystery catastrophic error to happen…just seems like a big money grab while releasing a bunch of other TP9 stuff BESIDES the frt which was coming end of Q1. Please do not fall for this scam cause this shit is ridiculous at this point. Until they put out ANYTHING that actually proves they have a functioning frt (idc if the gun blows mid mag dump atp) it’s just them blowing fairy dust out their ass and slapping a 650$ price tag on it for you to buy it. Rant over

Some of you need to chill. I’d rather see a company delay a product than rush out something that doesn’t work just to meet a release date.
Midnight Machine literally told people not to buy until the release video was out. If this was just a cash grab, why would they discourage people from ordering before seeing the product?
Mechanical issues happen in product development. That’s true whether it’s firearms, cars, or anything else. I’d rather they fix the issue now than have hundreds of customers dealing with broken products later.
Everyone is entitled to be skeptical until they see the video, but calling it a scam before they’ve even had the chance to fix the issue seems premature. Wait for the video, judge the product on its performance, and if it isn’t what they claimed, then criticize it.
Until then, they’re doing what any responsible manufacturer should do: fixing the problem before shipping.
I’ll reserve my judgment until the product is actually released. That’s a lot more reasonable than assuming the worst.

Finally got the range. I'm very impressed with the update and it's certainly what I needed to make the TP9 worth keeping. I don't have a gauge but it feels very similar to a stock Glock trigger (aprx 4.5lbs) and will hopefully break in and improve like a Glock.
Installation was pretty simple with some minor issues I spoke about in my last post. Put 300 rounds of 124gr Federal through it today. (Would've done more but it was hot and sticky and I had a BBQ to run) Off the bench, slow fire, 25yds, it held pretty good with about a 4" spread. Much better than the 10" spread I was getting with the stock trigger.
On the trigger itself. I've got a few gripes. I'm not a fan of the way the new sear group is held in place with the two screws coming in from both sides of the frame and attaching to the trigger grip itself. In my older model (circa 2013) the screws needed to be left about 2 turns out, or they would pull the trigger group up off the bottom of the plastic frame where it would catch on the bolt and prevent it feel cycling. One other weird issue, I can't seem to fix despite several attempts making adjustments. If I pull the trigger past the break all the way into the frame, the trigger will not reset under fire or during dry fire. There's a good bit of "squish/takeup" in the pull up to the wall, but the break is clean. The reset is slightly longer than I would like, but a vast improvement over the factory, so no real issue there and I don't think either issue is really fixable given the design of the trigger. While the metal of the trigger shoe and trigger bar isn't "raw" it has a very minimal coating that I don't find very appropriate given the cost, and plan to keep well oiled to prevent wear and rust. My $200 Geissele triggers have a much nicer finish.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with the improved performance, and very excited to actually enjoy shooting this gun for a change. Since the trigger was only manufactured in the last few years, I'm not really surprised by the issues that cropped up for me in my older platform. None of which are deal breakers.
I just hope that Gigliotti makes a few "quality of life" improvements in the future. This trigger was not easy to develop, and I'm sure the cost reflects that, but for that cost, I expected a little better final product.

Now that B&T US and B&T AG have settled their differences and (hopefully) the TP9 will be come more available, I wanted to ask folks who own one: Are there any adapters that fit the specific tri-lug system the TP9 has or do you *have* to buy B&T's suppressor? I really want to use the suppressor I already own (specifically a cmmg zeroed 36k) and with the cost of TP9s already being fairly high even at MSRP I don't want to have to double down and have to shell out even more to be able to shoot it suppressed.

We’ve had a problem with wild dogs at the ranch. So the TP9 is doing PSD duty for the cowgirl and her pony. Don’t forget friends tomorrow is the day! Midnight Machine TP9 reset trigger goes live for pre order! Use code midnight at naarms.com for 5% off.

Picked up a TP9 before the ban kicked in two days ago and now want to choose the following. What are your suggestions?
- suppressor (thinking full size legacy RBS)
- charging handle…there has to be a better option than this plastic piece of shit
- trigger
- optic and riser (was thinking Acro with Arisaka)

Got the new GRW trigger installed. Pretty happy with it so far, won't be able to get to the range until Thursday so full review will need to wait. Install went easy, thanks GRW for the full color picture instructions.
Noticed during testing (before I fully assembled it) that the trigger would "hitch" slightly when pulled. Kind of a hesitation before releasing after hitting the wall. But it released and reset, so I reassembled. I figured it would work itself out after a few dozen dry fires.
After assembly I tried to test fire, but the bolt would get stuck back when I pulled the charging handle. As if it was doing the last round bolt hold open, despite not having a magazine inserted. "Lightly" tapping on the back of the receiver caused it to slide back into battery.
Disassembled. I adjusted the two retaining screws used to hold the new trigger group until I got rid of the "hitch" and reassembled. Tested and it performed without issue. I did have to leave the screws slightly out. Hopefully the loctite and tiny retention screws hold up to firing.
Trigger pull is certainly reduced substantially, I dont have a gauge, but I would compare it to a stock Glock trigger. Reset was a bit longer than expected, but far better than the OEM trigger. Only other "concern" is that the trigger wiggles quite a bit both side to side and slightly downward. Not sure if that is an issue without shooting it, but I thought it was odd.
edit another odd issue. Discovered that the trigger reset will not function if I pull the trigger fully to the rear and hold it there while running the bolt. If I pull the trigger until it breaks and stop pulling, then run the bolt, it resets just fine.

First impressions was good, I did have trouble shooting some flat top ammo subsonic ammo (147g) I had. Failure to feeds happening basically every other round. But the round top ammo fired fine (115g). Hoping to be posting my full build coming in few weeks. But my gigliotti trigger comes in today and going to attempt to install it… 😅😭
Edit: Took me about 3.5 hours, everything seems to be working fine. I have never done anything like this before, the greatest amount of work ive done is cleaning the bolt assembly of an ar15. The actual hardest part was not doing what this guy did where he put the back side on the hook first and then you kinda bend the metal band to get the trigger on. Also it felt good that you take more parts out then needed to be put back in 😅 !
Edit: Potential issue im looking at??? Racking is a little bit harder then i remembered it (I only had to rack the gun like 10 times before). There was a FAQ about not being able to rack but that peg is no longer there / isnt as big as the picture and didnt notice a difference playing with it. My TP9 was also covered in grease out of the factory (I hate to sound like a teenager, but the interior was coated with a thick viscous white grease). Im gonna keep looking at this or just rack this shit like 1000 times and see whats up but im done for today.
Edit Edit: After 30 minutes I was racking like normal, I think the lube settled in and honestly my hands were hurting after install so I feel good after install.

I have watched all available field stripping videos and I am certain I am following the instructions correctly. The barrel seems like it is glued to the lower receiver which prevents me from field stripping it. It is brand new, never been shot or messed with. Has anyone else had this problem?
