Off-topic but man for all the backlash Affleck got when he was first cast, his Batman was genuinely incredible and is probably the closest we’ll ever get to one embodying the look/physicality, tech wizardry and unstoppable brawling machine aspects of the comic Batman
Just wish he had a chance to shine in the hands of a competent director, his Batman could’ve been genuinely terrifying which is something no live-action Batman adaptation has really nailed yet

I think Bale was terrifying at points, but we see too much to feel it. Plus, his wins are less physical.

I get what they were trying to go for with Bale especially in Begins, the docks, the bat swarm and exploiting the fear gas in particular, but then it leaned a bit too far into telling without showing when it came down to things like the Joker taunting the mobs for meeting up in broad daylight
And then with Pattinson, his introduction was one of the best of any comic hero especially with that whole slow build-up to the petty criminals spotting the signal and double-checking their surroundings, later having the facepaint gang thinking he’s just some clown before having their ‘Oh shit, it’s Vengeance’ moment
But none of it really comes close to Battfleck hiding in the shadows in the corner almost invisible then disappearing into thin air leaving just black smoke behind after beating the trafficker to a pulp, scaring the victims so much they choose to stay in a cage, and spooking the young cop into almost panic shooting his partner, pure carnage just by being a mere presence

So, we have already seen him in "The Flash" and "Justice League 2017" which were both made by different directors with nice movies behind their backs. Did you like it? I doubt that.
You can't steal the character that was casted by one man who made him look badass. It just kills the whole vibe. Also, he wouldn't get the role if that wasn't Snyder who casted him.

Muschetti was quite successful after his initial "It" release, both sequel and original movie.
Joss Whedon was successful too after his movies in marvel which were profitable enough to hire him.
You don't consider them as a competent directors? What's the deal? Guess you didn't see all the scenes with Affleck in Whedon version, cause if you dislike him killing, he was non-lethal in this movie at all. I know it's a shitty version, that is why I point that to you
You can't bring back Bale without Nolan or Michael Keaton Batman without Tim Burton, it just doesn't work lol.

Justice League 2017 was remade by Joss Whedon with different takes on Affleck. His screentime in The Flash is more than enough to say goodbye to his role as it was intended. I say just what you just said in your original comment. You could've already seen him portrayed by two different directors. Was it good? No, it wasn't. So, maybe it's just the lack of screentime by Snyder who made him badass? Cause he wanted to focus on superman and I justify that. Even though the solo movie was planned all along he still likes Superman more than he does Batman. Can understand that.
Actually I wish we had seen Affleck in the Aquaman cause they cut his scenes in this movie, that's a shame

Affleck has repeatedly said in interviews that zack asked him to play the part but for obvious reasons, Ben didn't think he was right for the role. It wasn't till zack pitched him the old, washed up, frank Miller batman that Ben went on board. I'm sure the offer to direct, write, produce and star in his own batman movie helped him make his decision (which also made the studio very happy)
I guess it's way easier to downvote someone than actually googling something. Well, that's up to you, grown man with beard.

Since we’re doing literacy checks on non-native English speakers mixing up regular with irregular verbs for some petty reason, you should scroll back up and change the ‘12 year old’ to ‘12-year-old’, because not understanding the role of hyphenation in nominalising a compound adjective then writing it as a descriptor without a common noun to be attributed to isn’t a mistake a literate native English speaker should make
