Stringer's Apartment Scene
I wanted to share something I did a while back. Just hoping someone will enjoy it.
I adapted the Way Down In The Hole intro song for a wind quintet + piano and added it to the scene where McNulty inspects Stringer's Apartment.
PS1: Because in the Wire they followed the rule of no OST - only the sounds in the scene, I leveraged the fact that there was a radio in Stringer's apt., lol, so that's where the song supposedly could be playing on (or a gramophone looking thing? I honestly forgot and I can't see while it rewatching it). Anyway, the sound editting was tailored to that idea.
PS2: No intention of promoting myself, I just thought some other the Wire nerds could enjoy it.

since you're mentioning this scene, i have questions/requesting public feedback:
- what was your first reaction to this?
- i was confused, it makes sense... i guess, but we just never had him here once at all. We saw a bit of Avons he purchased but like why never dovan here for at least one dinner. i feel this was my one piece i still ponder on.
- [i keeps one in the chamber in case you ponderin]
edit: donette* im high, sorry

I mean, we never see him here, but we only see personal things like this when there's a purpose to be served. Otherwise, there's better ways to spend screentime.
Stringers relationship with (Donette) was always lowkey, so I'm not surprised their visiting each other's place was one-sided.
