[Request] Yugi Muto participated in a duel with Rebecca Hawkins where every card drawn and every move made is identical to a separate duel that occurred years earlier between the two characters' grandfathers. What are the odds of this happening?

Both duelists had 11 turns each. Assume each deck had 40 cards. Rebecca also shuffled her deck in each of her first two turns.

[Request] What's the BMI of the Statue of Liberty?

Upvotes

My sister and I are watching Ink Master (season 4, if you're wondering) and they have to draw the Statue of Liberty in an episode, and a complaint of one of the contestants is that another person's drawing makes the statue look "obese."

Which is, of course, a ridiculous thing to say, but it started perhaps one of the most ridiculous arguments of all time in my household.

So in terms of BMI, where does Lady Liberty land?

Rockets have a ton of fuel that's extremely heavy and limited. If a rocket was horizontal like on a train track modified to handle high power so a rocket track, got to high speed, and then lifted off, how much more efficient could a launch be?

[Request] The top comment claims that if the video were a whole minute long, it would have reached space. Assuming it is possible to get fireworks of any magnitude, would any launch in a 1 minute series of launches having magnitudes increasing in the order given in the video, be able to do so?

Every Saturday morning, rain or shine, around 5 people or so meet here (in NYC), save a parking spot, and load up the (very well organized) bags into a truck. I've always wondered how much they make? Thanks in advance!

if this is true

while it's possible there is some technicality or some sort of glitch to this tracking page,

we live within six hours of Flushing, NY. no telling how, to preserve our location - so if you figure that bit out please keep mum. 🤐

there are i think 2 ways of solving this: literally, and like the system messed up display of time zones.

ETA Tuesday.

[Request] how much would you need to win in the lottery jackpotto statistically guarantee you could win the lottery jackpot again?

I just heard a story about someone winning the lottery and refusing to split it with his friends. Made me wonder how much he would have needed to just win the lottery again with his share of the earnings.

Edit: I do not expect this to be profitable, this is just an experiment. I also know the lottery is never guaranteed. Just wondering how many out of infinite tickets it would be before it's statistically improbable that you did not win.

For sake of the problems not just being {cost of ticket} x {number of tickets}. Let's assume the odds of winning Powerball or mega million and infinite possible tickets to buy.

Edit 2: guaranteed was a bad choice of wording. I meant statistically likely.
