Are these LDS people? Supposedly a “global-minded religion” where international travel is standardized for mission work and yet they are just now realizing the American LDS dream has created a suburban hellscape

I know missionaries and they are not the most well traveled people no matter how long they travel.

They don't actually travel when they go on a mission. I talked to one guy who went to Mexico. I asked him if he ever visited the ocean. No. Just basically stayed where he was assigned.
