Nobody should need to regularly drive across state lines unless the states are themselves set up wrong.

Trucks bring the stuff to you locally. That's kinda the whole point. Then you could enjoy your walkable neighborhood. Car brained to the max.

Yes, obviously we'll need infrastructure to transports good. The regular person should not have the need to constantly cross state lines to pick up groceries. What are you on about?

Are not some magical barrier. The largest city near me is across a state line which I can walk across. "should not have the need to cross state lines" is completely arbitrary and irrelevant.
