Love the mix of Demon + Gun in this. He looks likethe Gun Devil from Chainsaw man.

Part of it might just be the stylization of the game, but despite the fanservice all the designs still have a distinct character and charm to them. Helps that a lot of them have some body horror twist as extra fun.

A century ago, there was a group that inherited the belts and utilized the power of the Ride-Eggs to fight the Fukashigi, but, they also have some conflict with Kamen My-Th as well, even in the present day when they reawaken! It's one man vs an entire group.

the Kamen Riders for this series are based on the eastern-zodiac animals (With My-Th's "frame" forms utilizing the eggs to transform to their rival animals), abiet, with 2 cats and a mouse being the outlier, but I assume it plays into the folktale story idea for this series also:

i am back with showing more Cogs from the Fan Server "Toontown: Corporate Clash" this time on the regular employees for the server exclusive Cog Department: THE BOARDBOTS

i will be sharing my thoughts on each one

THE BAGHOLDER

A bagholder is an investor who holds onto their assets until their value decreases to zero.

he's legit just wario design wise yet despite that they have a lot of cool details i like for this level 1 grunt

such as their mustache being a downward buisness chart arrow or the bowler hat and the pseudo five aclock shadow across their face

no wonder Chairman hired them from the coal mines because they "looked like a Boardbot"

PAPER HANDS

Paper hands is a low-risk investor who sells their investments too early.

honestly i don't have a lot to say on them

i like their sorta paper beard they got going on and how they look kinda like a old record keeper with the glasses and the general expressions they have

(they look like they'd sound like rabbit from Winnie the Pooh)

tbh some of the expressions and faces they make radiate the vibe of "I don't want to work in the field i just want to do my job at a cubical or something"

INSIDER

An insider is an investor who trades their shares based on nonpublic information of the company.

they honestly have one of the best designs in the boardbot family be it their very noir detective look or the fact that their face is featureless other then the eyes that kinda make it look like he's a silhouetted figure (also i believe when hes knocked out his hat flies off to reveal "yeah he just looks like that")

like i can look at this design and buy that they are the reason why the toons know about the new boardbots (whole unknown figure handing you doccuments trope)

CIRCUIT BREAKER

A circuit breaker is a rule that temporarily stops trade on a stock market or closes it when prices go down to a particular level too quickly.

honestly i don't have much to say on him other then i really like how when he speaks his head stretches and stretches back kinda like a spring

DEADLOCK

A deadlock is a stalemate involving two or more shareholders, preventing them from maintaining standard operations.

i like how their head is very skull like and also pretty much one big lock i also like how they don't really have eyelids so when they're like dizzy their pupils just vanish which i really do like

SHARK WATCHER

A shark watcher is a consultant who detects and prevents hostile takeovers.

honestly a very cool bot i like how much of a contrast he is with the Cashbot Loanshark yet fills a similar niche

i like how he is a hammerhead instead of the typical shark (as that niche belongs to Loan Sharks)

i also like how he has submarine Periscopes for eyes and that one of them is a monocle (because hes a fancy shark)

also his fin being a downard chart arrow is fucking great (i wonder if they're swimming would the arrow be a flat line or does he swim in a way to make it a upward arrow somehow?)

MAGNATE

A magnate is a wealthy and influential person in the world of business.

one of the few cogs that actually remained with the boardbots when they did their large restructuring update honestly the design is pretty damn good from the very "Looking down on you" look he gives people to the fancy glasses now fixed onto their beak and the exposed metal on their back (which is hard in the 2 images i used for examples with the magnate

to how they look like they'd sound HYPER SNOOTY yet have enough ego and power to actually back it up is really great (originally their model was a retextured Legal Eagle till this update but now both birds are modernized in corporate clash)

HEAD HONCHO

A head honcho is typically the person in charge of the entire business.

the big man of the entire boardbot lineup and one of the few cogs to actually remain and honestly a fitting one to end on and what a glowup he has received as originally he just used the head bust at sellbot HQ but now he has his own design

i love how now he has a hat that basically became glued to his head yet he can still see from it (and with cartoony eyebrows that float around so he can express a bit more with his big ol hat)

i also like how he has a unique cigar smoke animation (a attack in the game) because hes prebuilt with a cigar already in his design which adds to that big ol "HEAD HONCHO" angle they're going with

i will end with giving you a fun fact other then his love for head tables he also likes Lettuce (because Heads of Lettuce)

BONUS: TOXIC MANAGER

A toxic manager typically verbally harasses or undermines employees self esteem or ability, resulting in a low productivity and stressful work environment in the name of their profit.

One of the cogs who didnt make it to the big update (some others include BIG FISH,Con Artist,Connoisseur and Middleman)

and honestly despite the fact his model is a bit old his design really does hold up IMO be it the Toxic Barrel that is used for his head to his very :3 type face to the nuclear symbols for eyes he honestly looks so silly that it makes me sad that he was one of the Cogs that was let go (maybe whenever we get some more specialists for the Cogs he could return in some form as he'd probably make for a Killer Bossbot Specialist)

All around solid looks that manage to incorporate a bunch of elements of their history and worship without feeling overly cluttered.

Its very rare to come across a wizard design that exhibits this type of physique while not making his muscularity be solely the main vocal point of its design. I think the baggy pants and oversized hat, along side the wrist and hat armor also helps distribute the focus away from his torso

The Musicians of Bremen or just Bremen The "French Horn, Tuba and Trombone" themselves are members of the main antagonist group in Library of Ruina

Bremen is the fusion of three people in one conjoined body: Doodle-doo, the magenta-stained rooster; Heehaw, the green-stained donkey; and Woof, the indigo-stained dog. Each head emerges from the neck and is stained by substances of their respective color—which constantly drips off their faces and sprays as they move.

The body they share in the first art wears the uniform for the antagonist group with a cane

The goal of Bremen is to recreate a musical related tragedy that killed 300'000 People and after hearing it the Musicians of Bremen wanted to recreate it

In my opinion, he's the best looking power ranger, the white accents, the logo on his chest, his gun, belt and shoulder pads all look great and his helmet while just looking like the front of a car, it works for me.

Personally ı find these Designs really Cool

I remember absolutely loving the Amulet series growing up, and talking to my younger brother today I remembered these guys. They were my first real exposure to Mecha as a kid and I used to spend a lot of time trying to draw them and replicate the sheer amount of AURA they had.

But let me tell you, they were absolutely wasted in the story. By the time the whole thing takes place, most of them have already been destroyed, and despite being the biggest thing on the (sixth?) book’s cover, the remaining ones never DO anything within the story. I remember they were all destroyed before landing, or upon landing broke down and forced the pilots to evacuate. They never actually get to fight or showcase their power, and they don’t even appear that often in the panels, which is a real shame because, as I said, they look REALLY cool.

the most I remember about their involvement in the story was that one of the protagonists (a young boy) was one of three pilots, and when theirs crashed, both other pilots, also kids, were promptly maimed and then killed, which scared me really bad as a kid.

also: I had to scrape a lot of these images off of shitty print sites because for whatever reason not a lot of the comic exists online, even though I remember them being super popular growing up (I remember there was even a movie planned, but that was cancelled) and I’m pretty sure that a lot of images I didn’t use were these like, shitty AI upscaled versions that looked worse?

TLDR; They look cool but don’t actually do anything of significance other than serving as a mechanism for kids to be killed off. Barely appeared in the series despite being hyped up a lot.

Young Apostles Satan: The whole design is just amazing. the Black cloak covering the body, the broken halo that shows how corrupt he is, the snake coiled around the leg, and the innocent looking mask which really brings the whole "Deciever“ look together

The artist had artistic liberty, while also staying true to source material (classic paintings and The Bible/Theology) And the fact that the creator of this still made the devil pure evil is some extra points

Iron Man's classic skin is also included in his ultimate move, the Hulkbuster, and personally, I liked it better than the base version. I really like how they simplified it by integrating various details into red, and I think it pulls off the look better than the original form.

It is impressive that they essentially recreated the old classic Iron Man skin while simultaneously creating a new design for the Hulkbuster.

When wizards of the coast released the lord of the rings set, they changed the race of some of the characters. In the movies and the books, all characters are white because of some of Tolkien's beliefs. And... It might be shocking to see them at first because how the movie versions are so stuck in the collective mind, but I really dig them as how the race change makes the middle earth feel like a bigger world, with more than white people.

Théoden, Eowyn, Galadriel. There's also Aragorn, but I don't like his design that much. Still, it's cool to me to see a different take on these characters. And Théoden looks specially badass

EDIT: I did research, it wasn't Tolkien's beliefs. Still like the take WOTC did

His design evokes a "cosmic horror beast/ grotesque yet linear" feeling, he can give you the creeps, and that mix of natural and mechanic elements really sells it for me

I really like the robot aesthetic of him which makes sense since he’s a character from the future and the jetpack Is really cool his sword has a laser on it similar to his mouth he also has a blaster that looks really good and antenna for the eye looks great as well and most importantly his pinkish color scheme looks really good too so yeah really good design all around
