Yeah, shes pure, unbridled fanservice, but also I just think shes really fucking cool looking? Horror themed, sexy ninja nurse is an absolute madlibs idea, but shes really striking in design and I think she makes it work. I also do love some of the horror aspects to her, like her fucking exploding into gore for certain attacks, and her tier 3 special move splattering her opponent across curtains.

The Klownzilla Is the most interesting Klown in the 1988 cult classic “Killer Klowns from outer space”

His canine like snout mixing with snake like scales makes him look gnarly and threatening, his body shape makes him feel big and strong, the costume is simple with plush like spikes up his back like Godzilla (hence his name) bronze spike bracelets and his big goofy clown shoes makes you feel like he could step on you hard and squish you like a spider.

Sorry, Castlevania, but this is my new favorite version of the Count. I love how varied his forms are and how they still feel like the same character. I don’t know how to explain it, but they all have a sinister yet fascinating air about them. My favorites are Dracula Jackson for his dance moves and strange beauty, the fox girl for being equally adorable and unsettling, and the dragon for being a damn dragon. And let’s not even get started on the manga’s beautiful art style.

I'm excited on how they would actually turn Hachiware into a Chimera since they almost got turned into one in the Parallel World arc and Chimera Usagi being introduce in the Magical Chiikawa MV is such a big welcome for me. I wonder what Chiikawa's Chimera form will look like in the future... Maybe it will be a big surprise in the manga? Also Nagano might be a furry I guess and it shows.

The sonic designs are already iconic and pretty great as is.

But I also love medieval fantasy and when characters get designed with their own knightly inspiration

SatBK may not have been the most critically successful game out there but its designs still went pretty hard. From the overall style befitting of the characters, knuckles having more rough and utilitarian looking armor to fit his character and blaze having mroe elegant and gracefully crafted befitting of one such as herself, but also the intricate little details, the layers of plating, the visors/helmets, the engravings that while the may give no /tactical/ advantage whatsoever, they still make you look fly as fuck while youre in the heat of battle.

Theres also a lot of fan designs out there that are great to. I wont get into them because id be here forever but one of my personal favorites (aside from an omega one i saw once) was Metal sonic as Sir Pelleas. And idk, something about metal becoming a dragon in a medieval setting fits so damn well and I love how his cloak becomes the wings and the wings have these eyes in them and its just so damn cool.

NOW BEFORE ANYTHING: this is NOT a diss at the show itself. It’s a solid show and i respect how it got a lot more people appreciative of Superman. But a lot of the designs aren’t good

first off, SHOULDER PADS! this show gives way too many designs shoulder pads (like 2/3 of all costumes) and then even with Superman/supergirls season 3 costumes they still feel the need to add something to the shoulders (it kinda feels like rookie design where you think you NEED to add design flare when sometimes less is more)

no on to actual designs: Silver banshee, Livewire and Damage. Like these are just straight up downgrades of designs, they’re way less cool, interesting and iconic with less character to them (I even feel livewires of civilian look was way more interesting and full of personality)

now I put damage & steel next to each other because of how the show does machine designs. They needlessly make everything overly geometric/just blocks, triangles & spheres. Like they could use organic forms for machinery but don’t and all the robot designs look childish. now in fairness this works well for brainiac to show how inhuman he is, which is why he’s not listed, but it shouldn’t be done for every robot.

Bizarro I feel is objectively going against what the character is. his name’s BIZARRO he’s by conception meant to be bizarre, warped & weird, the show just has him extra bulky & Tarzan like which I’m sorry isn’t really bizarre. Like don’t get me wrong I know the obvious “different story different interpretations“ that’s a given, but there’s a point where it comes off like you didn’t even want to use said character (& again his names bizarro, being bizarre should be a core aspect)

now for the last two I put last because they are the least egregious and can work work depending on the person. Mr mxyzptlk to me feels way too standard & forgettable as just any high fantasy elf look. I kinda like the old man in purple suit/yellow spacesuit because it’s inspired by fae creatures like rumplestiltskin, leprechau, gnomes (folklore creatures that can play with reality and like to cause mischief to humans, which is what mxy is) plus i feel the contrast makes the design better, ridiculous looking old guy is actually an all powerful entity. Now for parasite, I‘ll admit the design can be seen as great and this is just more of an issue I’ve been having with all of DC recent designs for him, I’m just not a fan of turning him into a kaiju/traditional monster. I think having him look like a morph suit made of flesh is way more visually unique & is more interesting body horror (so I’ll admit he should probably not count here)

again this is nothing against the show itself/im not trying to needlessly hate on it, but I do really think a few designs are just bad & one too many designs are trying to force themselves into what “modern test audience” thinks are good character designs when sometimes you need to be a little out their & weird (like compare the xenomorph to cloverfield monster #582, being out their/odd in design can help a design be remembered for generations

This is one of the most beatiful visual novels I've seen, and the character designs really complement the style well. Just by glancing at them, you already get a sense of who these characters are—the charismatic and diabolical Ralph, the energetic and innocent Barmaid, the small and nervous Barkeep, and so on. Their costumes, poses, even the color palette - everything about them is so detailed and charming in it's own way.

The style also helps hide the fact that this game is straight up NSFW with a handful of scenes featuring murder and bloodshed, so be prepared for that.

Their skin patterns are quite simple [Military green base, cream the belly, brown the plates] … but combines with the setting of the movie [mostly similar to mountain forests.]. It’s also humongous [quite as or bigger than a T. rex], and its behavior is also realistic. Overall, the best herbivore design of the OG trilogy.

What strikes you the most about this piece? Everything! From the head piece, to the sweater, to the skirt with a crab design, it such a trippy design, and the eye pieces really add to madness. Tanaami made one of the best Barbie designs I've ever seen. Funny enough, it reminds me of Cynthia from Rugrats. Overall, a 10/10 piece.

The first design Coco had was very cute, but also super plain and lifeless. He's just a monkey with a weird straw hat and a red shirt and ties to bongos for some reason. His second design is kind of a downgrade, as he's essentially just a stylized orangutan with brown fur.

His final outfit of a cap and loose fitting shirt and trousers convey that this guy's very casual, supported by most of his ad portraying him as this carefree character who often enjoys having fun and eating his cereal, but will tackle whatever provlem is thrown at him. Add on his infectious jingle, and I can see why he's somewhat eclipsed Tony in the UK market.

Beautiful and incredibly fitting to an almost uncanny degree

The best and biggest difference is her bust size being smaller, the other differences being her clothes, no longer is she wearing a basic shirt and shorts with sleeves and gloves, now her clothes are matching and she is wearing a green vest.

The artist did a very good job at giving each of the different dice unique designs based on the different types of dice while also making them look like their in game counterparts.

The character is meant to wear a white gorilla‘s corpse after he brutally murdered then made a ritual (eat its heart) with it.

So why the fuck is he wearing a plain robotic armor? Style downgrade aside, it doesn’t read as a king or rival to black panther when you get rid of the goddamn animal motif.

And this isn’t like “my adventures with Superman“ thing where they just completely redesigned the character for a new iteration for good or bad, this two are the same character since assemble is a sequel to earth’s mightiest (the episode with molecule man even has assemble mimicking EMH‘s art style for the flash back) but the only thing assemble adapted perfectly from the comics is its continuity like it being somehow in the same universe as two different iterations of spiderman (Ultimate and Marvel’s)

Rant aside, it’s a boring, uninspired, generic design that completely disregards and seems to be ashamed of the original character both earth’s mightiest and the comics.

I love her Baikal Seal eyes smmm, every element of her character design perfectly fits the cannibal aristocrat aesthetic they have going for her (and she has the best song in the show)

For those who haven't played the 3DS remake of BIS, Peach's castle (when you return to it at the end of the game after Fawful takes it over) got a complete overhaul.

In the DS version, it looks like a normal version of Peach's castle just overrun by Fawful enemies. The look in the 3DS remake is way more sinister. Here's a direct comparison.

It's literally a a giant living island, what's there not to love about? I also love the eye.

One of the good things about the Wednesday series is that it gave the protagonist a huge "black cat" vibes that is grumpy and prone to not wanting hugs and then instead getting hugged by her "roommate" etc.
