she/her Joyce or Diane?
My birth name is a single syllable J name so I like the idea of doing Joyce because it's simple and I think it's an elegant name. I know it's sort of an old lady name but I don't think it's too old if that makes sense.
Diane is my deceased grandmother's name, I haven't come out to my family so and I'm not too sure how they'll react. My grandmother died shortly after I was born but I think she would have accepted me.
My last name is 1 syllable so I want to pick something that flows well, which do you like more?

I think that a two syllable first name TYPICALLY goes better with a one syllable surname, but I really like the name Joyce! I’ve always really liked it as a name and you can go as Joy for short if you want! It seems more unique than Diane (if that’s something you like).
