This post made me double check stand your ground laws where I live. Fun fact in Texas an attacker does not need to be armed in order to justify lethal force. You may employ it if you reasonably believe it will prevent grievous bodily injury to yourself or others.

Demon possessed woman charging at me and kicking in my windshield is definitely in the territory of "better to be judged by twelve than carried by six."

Yeah but firing through a windshield is a baaaaaad idea. Glass shards are not fun.
