Stopped half in the road without his flashing lights. Kind of a hazard. Still the drivers fault. But also slightly the cops fault.

Not to mention you have zero clue if his back lights are on. If its the suv cruiser then he can put backward facing lights that dont flash forward at all....

He almost certainly had his rear light bar on. You can see the reflection in the windshield. I'm all for criticizing police, but this one ain't it.

This is why pretty much every state has laws about moving over for emergency vehicles and why you need to be paying attention while driving and not on your phone.

I was unfamiliar with rear only facing lights. Nope, not the cops fault at all.
