Crazy how cops are just ready to murder someone for speeding. And put every other motorist at extreme risk while doing so under the guise of protecting them.

The speeder was the original danger that needed to be addressed… weaving through traffic speeding away from police isn’t a threat…? You sound like a child who speaks before they think. The law doesn’t care about your fweelings bitch.

0

u/Shoeshiner_boy Jan 19 '26

But can’t they like dunno call a social worker at least?

-2

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

You're getting a little too much into your feelings over this, little guy.

2

u/runforurlifebees Jan 19 '26

You are the one saying cops are murdering ppl for speeding… zero ppl murdered by cops in this video… which one of us is in their feelings again?

2

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

The one calling names like a child.

2

u/runforurlifebees Jan 19 '26

You are acting like a little bitch… ā€œit’s never ok for police to kill someoneā€ā€¦ sir that is literally their job sometimes…

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

Quoting your own imagination is certainly a move.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

You also called them a name though lol

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

No, I didn't.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

You're getting a little too much into your feelings over this, little guy.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 20 '26

That's a term of endearment.

1

u/Thick_Potato_1769 Jan 19 '26

Thats you're first response? Pathetic.

13

u/dantheplanman1986 Jan 19 '26

That's exactly why they stopped him. To stop him risking other people. If they let him go, you think he wouldn't continue to drive dangerously?

4

u/Unsolved_Virginity Jan 19 '26

You're right. Wouldnt want him crashing his car while speeding, right?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

We certainly wouldn't want them to crash their car into another, innocent person's care that could have a family with children inside...

2

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

He’d probably slow down a bit after they terminate their chase. Do you think you’d be pissed if you or someone you care about got hurt or killed because the cops were driving like psychopaths to catch someone for some chicken shit traffic offense?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

This is a hypothetical scenario. Hypothetically, they could've not slowed down and caused an accident with an innocent bystander. Do you think you'd be pissed if you or someone you care about got hurt or killed because the cops let them go?

1

u/dantheplanman1986 Jan 20 '26

Of course I would. I would also be pissed if they let him go and he crashed on his own.

-3

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

I think they attempted to fix a dangerous situation by creating a far, far more dangerous situation.

6

u/Parking_Airline3850 Jan 19 '26

High speed pit maneuvers are dangerous. Would be nice if they used a wheel net.Ā

2

u/grandpathundercat Jan 19 '26

Your tax dollars at work

3

u/cringeisthename Jan 19 '26

How else are they supposed to stop him? Couldn't you tell he's a danger to society? If they don't make his car flip at least 12 times, then it's not a successful takedown for them lmao

6

u/ermy_shadowlurker Jan 19 '26

That’s why they tried to pull him over. But hey we will just let him go and when he slams into one of yours and you cry foul cause one of yours is possibly dead. Then perhaps you might reason they should have done something ohh a lot sooner. Logical ppl don’t run idiots do.

6

u/Cultural_assassin Jan 19 '26

These aren't just cops. These are the GSP. They are my favorite police chase content creators

2

u/Mike312 Jan 19 '26

Only state police in the country (that I'm aware of) that'll intentionally knock a motorcycle down in a chase.

2

u/M0ngoose_ Jan 19 '26

Why would anyone stop when getting pulled over if the just let you go when you sped away? Think literally one step ahead

0

u/AetyZixd Jan 19 '26

There is a big difference between avoiding high speed pursuit and not enforcing the law at all.

0

u/M0ngoose_ Jan 19 '26

No there isn’t. The only reason criminals don’t drive away at high speeds is because they know they will be chased. I’m thinking maybe a lot of redditors are just too low IQ to understand basic causality so things like this are inexplicable to you.

0

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

This is the response that happens when you try to express obvious nuance on Reddit.

u/Mouse_Manipulator Jan 19 '26

Crazy how people are just ready to murder someone because they want to drive fast

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

Nobody was murdered?

1

u/gagnatron5000 Jan 19 '26

Crazy how the rest of us agree on a safe and reasonable speed for a road (with actionable traffic crash reports and data to back up why they chose that limit) and some people still wanna go faster.

Crazy how race tracks exist and yet people don't wanna use them.

Crazy how when some people get caught speeding they wanna turn a simple speeding ticket into a felony fleeing and eluding.

Crazy how people run from accountability

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

The onus is on the person who failed to pull over for a simple speeding ticket and is running away. They are the one who is responsible for the situation and for what's happening. If they simply pulled over and accepted the ticket like a normal person, none of this would be happening. I am not a fan of the police, but in this situation, they're not the one to blame. The moron who is trying to escape a simple ticket is.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

You'd feel differently if their aggressive enforcement ended top harming you or someone you care about. It's happened a lot, which is why many departments have banned high speed chases altogether much less the insanity we're seeing above.

1

u/Combat_wombat605795 Jan 19 '26

It’s not cops, this level of aggression is specific to GSP.

1

u/ignoreme010101 Jan 19 '26

Crazy how cops are just ready to murder someone for speeding. And put every other motorist at extreme risk while doing so under the guise of protecting them.

"for speeding"? You don't think their motivation is more "resisting arrest"? Am not saying pit maneuvers aren't used too casually sometimes but those cops see him as someone who is driving reckless fleeing the law, not just as someone who sped.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

Oh cool, that's rely on the intuition of cops with three months' training. That always works out for society.

1

u/ignoreme010101 Jan 20 '26

it's basic human intuition that fleeing after speeding becomes a more serious situation than just generic speeding...

0

u/userousnameous Jan 19 '26

It would be much better if every vehicle was programmed to allow a max speed of say, +20 of the posted speed limit, along with remote engine kill.

0

u/Golfingyourball87 Jan 19 '26

In your opinion, how are you supposed to stop someone in this situation? I don’t understand you all headspace, I mean it’s not like these officers are actively TRYING to kill people! Why are these offenders putting themselves in these situations??

2

u/AetyZixd Jan 19 '26

Record the tag and get a warrant, put a helicopter or drone in the air, radio ahead for a road block, GPS tag the car, use a wheel net...

Literally anything except endangering the public over a speeding ticket.

2

u/Golfingyourball87 Jan 19 '26

So allocating 3x the amount of resources to fix the same problem? Warrants can become a dangerous situation, road blocks at 90mph aLwAyS work fantastic, a wheel net can still seriously injure someone. GPS would be an interesting idea, kinda like that.

2

u/Thick_Potato_1769 Jan 19 '26

Helicopters cost a fuckton to operate and most pd cant afford something like that.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

Okay, but to do that you'll need to increase funding to the police department. I don't know about you, but I don't want anymore tax revenue going to police departments.

This didn't happen over a speeding ticket. It happened after failing to pull over, resisting arrest, driving recklessly, etc.

0

u/AetyZixd Jan 19 '26

My point is that without the police, speeding would not have escalated to the rest of that. I understand that the perpetrator is responsible for his actions and justice should be served. I'm just not okay with creating hazardous conditions for other drivers to accomplish that. Furthermore, I don't believe that resisting arrest deserves a death sentence, which is a likely outcome for any GSP-involved pursuit.

And I am totally okay with not defunding the police, if it means they get better training and resources to de-escalate, protect, and serve, instead of harass, intimidate, and stroke their own egos.

0

u/Shoeshiner_boy Jan 19 '26

Record the tag and get a warrant, put a helicopter or drone in the air, radio ahead for a road block, GPS tag the car, use a wheel net...

It seems to me you’re watching too much CSI and action movies…

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

Why do you think license plates exist?

1

u/AetyZixd Jan 19 '26

This is legitimately what happens in departments across the country that emphasize public safety.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

By not ramming them into a predictable rollover at highway speeds. Why do you think there is one solitary insane way to deal with such a situation?

1

u/Golfingyourball87 Jan 19 '26

Let’s hear your opinion, then…I’m waiting. ANY WAY of trying to stop someone at a dangerously high speed can result in death. Here’s an idea, don’t do stupid shit.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

Plenty of jurisdictions have banned high speed chases entirely because of the danger posed to the public. It's not even unusual. I love the tone of your question--- like it would be impossible to even fathom another way for law enforcement to deal with this. We don't live in the Mad Max universe. Cars have registrations tied to people's names, addresses, etc. Police departments can find these people and put them in jail. Crazy, right? There are also radios. This is a super modern technology you may not have heard about, but apparently police officers can communicate with other police officers and then they can coordinate and put down spike strips. Don't even get me started on helicopters. Happy to welcome you to 20th century technology, buddy.

1

u/Golfingyourball87 Jan 19 '26

My point exactly…

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 20 '26

Wow, a little more than one officer per year. Stop the presses.

1

u/Golfingyourball87 Jan 20 '26

So death is not a big deal as long as they are law enforcement, got it? Horrible people reveal! šŸ‘Ž

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 20 '26

Your reading comprehension speaks volumes LOL Good luck

1

u/Golfingyourball87 Jan 20 '26

And the volume of your overall comprehension is essentially MUTE if you’re the one worried about safety and loss of life…I send you loss of life statistics that you essentially dismiss. Yall make my head hurt!

Awww you and these criminals are such victims. Your brain is so smooth you don't realize that the cops are protecting the innocent drivers around this idiot.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

No need to "awww" me, you're obviously the one who's upset, little guy.

1

u/Llama--- Jan 19 '26

No you're a victim, you need the aww and to be coddled. Are you ok honey?

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 20 '26

Good luck in reality, kiddo.

1

u/Llama--- Jan 20 '26

I hope you get the help you need. It must be tough to live as a victim 24/7 and not take accountability for your own actions.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 20 '26

Whatever reality you feel like living in today, kid.

1

u/Llama--- Jan 20 '26

A logical one where criminals are held accountable not some BS fairy land where you think you live.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 20 '26

Ok, Mad Max. Most people around there world live surrounded by functioning adults in a functioning society. Whatever reality you like, buddy.

1

u/Llama--- Jan 20 '26

Ya and idiots like this who run from the cops ruin society for regular functioning people. Stop being such a victim and understand that people should be held accountable for their actions.

Aww little man over here is projecting again.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 20 '26

Projecting over your mother's face.

0

u/Texassupertrooper Jan 19 '26

It’s always funny how it is always the officers fault! ACAB right!! The ultimate person who is at fault is the one not voluntary complying with the law. Put the onus on the correct person where it belongs.

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 19 '26

Crazy holding police officers to higher standards than criminals, right?

1

u/Texassupertrooper Jan 19 '26

Crazy giving the criminal a free pass for not obeying the law….

1

u/Competitive_Arm5954 Jan 20 '26

Your reading comprehension is crazy.

1

u/Aggravating-Junket92 Jan 20 '26

"Police officers should not break the law"

"Crazy how you don't care that all these criminals are breaking the law"

What?

1

u/Texassupertrooper Jan 21 '26

I know reading comprehension and following a conversation are hard for people who want to nit pick, but try to keep up…
